They were amazing, from the deal they offered us for being a non-profit, to the amazing work that Jake put into helping us with things like setup that we did not consider to be a part of his job. They completely accommodated us and the space was amazing. The history of the building made it a special workplace environment. The chairs they had were great, didn't expect such high-quality padding. They were quick to respond to anything we needed and we would definitely book again!

This Space was perfect! Incredibly well lit, spacious, and easy to get to from downtown or the lake area. Having a separate area for the kitchen/bathroom was also a plus so we weren't distracted by movement towards food or to bio breaks. Jake, the person who set-up/let us in, was super easy to work with and helpful upon arrival and departure. I would absolutely consider returning for a future event/recommend this space to other folks looking for a space.

The space was clean. Easy to locate and near public transportation. The guard helped direct guests to the right location and reminded us of our remaining time. The host also helped bring in party supplies. I would totally recommended people to use Peerspace to book party venues.

We ran a workshop for executives and software engineers and the space was perfect! I would definitely recommend it. - Excellent location within walking distance to Lake Merritt Bart station - The space allows for different configurations of tables & chairs - to cater for different types of events - Metered street parking is available and relatively easy to find - The host was outstanding from start to finish: very responsive throughout the booking process and attentive to our requirements (including receiving our workshop material box delivered by FedEx one day prior) - The host set up the space prior to our arrival - ensuring we had all we needed to run a successful workshop - and made himself available during the workshop in case we needed anything Tips when booking this space: - in your invite to your attendees/group - ensure to add a note that the building is a former firehouse (as some ppl might think they are on the wrong location) - Confirm w/ host what are the current options for parking (as some of the nearby parking lots are not permitted to be used) - If booking an event during winter, be sure to dress warm - as it can get cold since it's a spacious location with very high ceilings

Space was excellent - host was super responsive, present, prepared and very thorough. Space is lovely - lots of natural light, great for a smallish conference group & excellent downtown location. Fun to raise the larger fire engine door to have a lot of natural light and air in the space. We'll be back!
