Our mansion has about 3000 square feet-- enough room throughout the house for intense corporate meetings or social gatherings that can seat 50 in four separate breakout areas throughout the house (40 can be seated for dinner in the dining room), enough sunlight to make any photographer happy since sunlight pours into the house from three directions, and enough karma for any kind of event from weddings and corporate strategy meetings to birthday parties and closing dinners. Our house is designer decorated and full of amenities: catering is available, and don't miss the sunroom which gets tons of natural light or the library for quiet extra spaces where you can hold additional smaller meetings. The neighborhood is in the heart of San Francisco and perfect for a getaway for business meetings, for a tranquil spot for a photography shoot or filming location, or for a party for friends and even weddings. Please note: for 1-10 guests, the hourly rate is $275; for 11-20 guests, the hourly rate is $325; for 20-29 guests, the hourly rate is $375; for 30-39 guests, the hourly rate is $425; for 40-49 guests, the hourly rate is $475 and above 50 guests, the hourly rate is $600. We have a maximum of 60 guests at events at our house.
We love the idea of hosting you in our home, and have just a couple restrictions: no smoking, no pets (Owner is aaaaccchhhhooo allergic), and Owner is not responsible for any injuries or damages to guests. The first floor is spacious and has a living room, foyer, half bath, dining room, kitchen, sun room and breakfast room. This rental does not include use of the second floor of the house.
The homeowner and the place were great! For long days, the only downfall is that the parking during the day could be challenging. There are 3 hour limits until 4 PM so if you have a long day, plan accordingly. I encourage Uber for city locals, etc. For drivers, some moved cars but spots were harder to come by mid-day so some took their chances. No one received a ticket. Apparently if ticketed the cost is $75 so you could just consider this part of the "fee" and take your chances and write it off to parking in San Francisco! It's worth it! The neighborhood is lovely and walking a couple of extra blocks is an architectural and scenic joy plus you feel absolutely safe in this gorgeous historical area.
Cora was a most accommodating and gracious host, and if this system allowed for 10 stars, that would be her rating! The location offers a lot of variety, and suited our requirements perfectly.
