We would love be part of your next project or event! Our 1930’s historic Spanish style hacienda is nestled in the hills of Villa Park, also known as the Hidden Jewel of Orange County. Sweeping panoramic views boast a backdrop of beautiful golden sunsets with a reach as far as Catalina Island. Available for commercial, film and photographic production, the estate’s sense of space and expansive beauty are catalysts for the creative mind. Shady hidden walkways, lush landscaping, an oversized Spanish tiled pool, resort style Cabana, furnished clay tile courtyard with strung Edison lighting and artistically arranged potted succulents, and a rustic stone fireplace serve as dream backdrops and endless possibilities. Creatives and artists have used the grounds to produce breathtaking pictures and film (see examples). The outside grounds (but not the gated slope area) as well as lower level of the home (includes a bar area, bathroom, pool table, and lounge) are available for use and provide unique opportunities for your production. Lower level of the home serves as a perfect area for hair/makeup and craft services set up. A private circular shaped driveway leads you into the property where 12-15 cars can easily fit for your convenience. BOOKING RATES CAST & CREW / RATE BREAKDOWN (4 hour minimum applies): 1-15: $150/hr 16-20: $175/hr 20-25: $200/hr ($25 hourly fee is charged for cast and crew in excess of 25 and is billed at a sliding scale in increments of every 5 people – see above) We are happy to give you customized quote if you have 25 people on your crew and are interested in renting the estate for multiple days.
OVERTIME: Overtime rate is 1.5x the hourly rate. SECURITY DEPOSIT: A refundable security deposit of $500 shall be paid at the time of booking. EXTRA CAST/CREW CHARGES: Extra/undeclared people on the rental day will be accounted for and the hourly rate will be adjusted to accommodate the range of crew. Please be accurate in your initial booking request. PRE-BOOKING: Prior to booking approval, information must be disclosed which include details about the project and the industry if applicable, number of people who will be on premises, call and wrap time, expected noise level, and number of vehicles. PARKING & ARRIVAL: There is ample parking on the circular driveway. We ask that there is no loitering in the driveway or street please. Guests who arrive before call time are asked to please park on a nearby street until shoot time. CLEANING & DAMAGES: We require the respect of our guests in that they are honest, clean and organized and that the home be left in the same condition it was entered in. Guests are responsible for clean-up, trash removal, and any damages to space or furniture. NOISE: From arrival to production and departure, guests must make every effort to not cause excessive noise that could disturb the neighbors. Cast and crew will not loiter on the street but instead will quietly enter the property and proceed straight to the side entrance of the property. Although the property is private, there are 2 neighboring houses which could be disturbed from this area. Please note that this is a full-time residence so we require respect for the Owners as well as the neighborhood in general. INSURANCE: Proof of workers comp insurance must be submitted. If not, we will execute a waiver stating that Guest absolves the Owner from all workers compensation related claims as a result of bodily injury at the property. You must also add the Owners as additional insureds on the producer/photographer insurance's policy. SITE REP: For smaller shoots, the owner will act as site rep and will be on site during the production. A site rep. fee of $300 will be required for larger shoots and will be determined on a case by case basis. PRODUCTION COORDINATOR: In order to maintain the best flow of information between guests and the property owner, we require that a Production Coordinator be assigned as the single point of contact for the property on-Site Rep. Please inform the property who will serve as the Production Coordinator and provide a phone number and email address DRONES: No drones are permitted. CHILDREN: Property owner must be alerted as to the presence of any children under the age of 18. Children must either have a babysitter or be supervised by their legal guardian. Further, a life guard will be required to be on site during the duration of the use of the property at Guest’s sole cost and expense. FILM PERMITS: It is the responsibility of the Guest to determine the need for permits for filming/photography. The Owner is in no way liable for any penalties that the production may incur due to their failure to secure a permit. CATERING: Smaller shoots of less than 15 people are encouraged to set up catering in the bar area of the downstairs lounge. Please have guests eat outside as there is plenty of seating available. For larger shoots, we recommend using the covered cabana. WALK THROUGH: A walk through will take place before and after the use of the property with representatives of the guest and Host or On-Site Rep to determine if any loss or damage has occurred as a result of the production. The guest will be permitted to photograph and/or film the premises during such walk through. The guest will have the first opportunity to repair such damages itself or to engage licensed contractors to complete such repairs, if any. Owner shall require that all crew/cast/subcontractors obey the reasonable directions of the location site representatives as relates to protection of the property and failure to do so shall be a breach of this agreement. Owner shall have the right to republish any photos or video from the shoot found on the Internet on the peerspace website(s). DEPARTURE: Wrap up is strictly defined as when all guests have exited the main grounds (this excludes driveway). Please give yourselves enough time to load out as we cannot have loading in the street or in excess of 20 minutes post wrap up as this is a quiet residential neighborhood. SITE VISITS: If you would like to schedule a site visit, please contact us. SMOKING – There is no smoking inside the house or on the grounds at any time due to the vegetation and possibility of fire.
