This chic, luxury loft located in one of the most expensive streets in the city is the perfect venue for an intimate pop-up or client event. Designed by celebrated interior designer Patricia de Niemeyer, rich jewel- toned hues and sumptuous fabrics offer a perfectly unexpected contrast with the clean loft space, playful design details. There is a lot of natural daylight in both the front and back areas of the loft. The back area also has large skylights that further add to the ambience. The loft is best suited for small groups and has been very successfully used for baby showers, wedding preparation, and training workshops. Sit-down dinner parties are not suited for the space. The total area of the loft is approximately 1750 sqft can be rented, with a roughly equal sized front living room / showroom area and back office space. The unit comes with full security features required for showcasing valuable items or artwork. There is a bathroom and functional kitchen area with a fridge, coffee machine, kettle and microwave, but please note that the oven & stove is NOT functional and can't be used. Rules for using the space can be found below and please read them carefully. A security deposit of $500 is payable as a check upon entering the space and will be returned after a walk through has been completed. If on a weekend, this may take place up to 48 hours after the event has been completed. Please note - the space is always fully private for weekend and evening bookings. During weekdays, the space is often shared. Please make sure to inquire with your desired date and time to confirm if the space can be booked privately.
No smoking and no pets. No movement of any furniture or addition of any external decorations without written approval. Alcohol consumption and young children (under 12) permitted with written approval only. Red wine or coffee should not be served the living room area. Any stains will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $300. $500 security deposit to be submitted as cash or a check upon entering the space.
I rented this space to throw my best friend's engagement party. The space was beautifully decorated and we had such a great time. Nadine was great at communicating - when we needed to get into the space early and extend the time at the end she was more than accommodating. It appears that this space is an office during the week or time that it's not rented, and all of the office supplies are kind of stacked or hidden around the space. It was a slight eye sore. There are also security cameras around the place which kind of makes you feel uneasy like people are watching you at all times. Other than that - it was a great space to host a party. Thanks again!
We absolutely loved this space! So much light, spacious atmosphere, and great decor for a baby shower. Nadine was super easy to work with, very responsive, provided clear instructions and directions. Great location, easy access from multiple subway stops and West Side Highway (with 24 hour parking around the block), as well as Duane Reade, Whole Foods, and other stores nearby for last minute event needs.
We hosted a PhD graduation party in Nadine's space. Nadine was super responsive throughout the process, even when we had an issue with the booking process. I recommend seeing the space before booking, as the pictures do not accurately represent the space. There is a very long hallway between the room with the chairs / picture and the more office-y space that makes it a bit awkward if you're trying to have an event where everyone is together in one space. It ended up working out fine for us but was not ideal and was too late to cancel once we saw it. We brought two table clothes which were needed for the main white table in the office area (it's pretty beat up on the surface). She provides a few that were in really good condition in addition to a million wine glasses, a few silverware and plates/bowls, which was great. As other reviewers mentioned, their supplies/inventory remains in the space when you're using it so if you care about that then don't book this space - it wasn't in your face so we were fine with it. This was a beautiful, unique space to host my friend's bridal shower. All the guests commented on what a lovely place it was. Nadine was easy to communicate with and everything was as advertised. Would definitely host another event here!
I held my daughter's bridal shower here. This was my know second event at this space and I can't say enough good things about it. It is large, clean, and beautifully decorated. Everyone wanted to know how I found it because it was so lovely. As with the first time there are several large tables in the hallway for you to set up food or whatever else you may have. We easily accommodated 22 people in the living area for the opening of the gifts and there were plenty of chairs between the two large rooms for guests to sit down to eat. Whatever your event might be you will be very pleased with this space and so will your guests!
I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower here along with my other 2 daughters. The place was as described in the photos with had a group of 25 guest who all perfectly fit in the space with ease with lots of seating . Very clean bathroom was nice I will book this place again if needed Great parking also
