The Rosewood is a charming 1,000 square foot 1920s Hollywood bungalow that used to house visiting movie stars for nearby Paramount Studios in the Golden Age of Hollywood. While it retains many of its original period features, it is fully refurbished and modernized with luxury fittings and finishing throughout, exuding charm and creative energy. It is a bright, colorful and fun space. There is a large open-plan living and dining area that gets ample light throughout the day. There are 2 bedrooms with generous storage space and 1 bathroom with a shower tub as well as a large back garden with a sitting/dining area for 6 and BBQ surrounded by succulents, fruit trees and palm trees. A large storage shed in the garden can be used for storing equipment/video village during the day or over night. For shoots, there are multiple connecting doors in each room allowing for lots of diverse camera angles. There's a driveway that fits 3 short or 2 long cars plus street parking in the neighborhood.
OVERTIME Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please do not bother our neighbors and keep surrounding areas and walkways clear of equipment, if you have any issues direct them to us. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. FURNITURE Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your needs. MISCELLANEOUS There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. No animals on site. There are no open flames allowed unless prior permission is given.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Very nice and comfortable house with good outdoor space to set up crafty and two parking spots. Laurie was very helpful and the access and closing of the location was simple and friendly. Would probably book again.
