About the Space
This beautiful historic, hilltop craftsman home, built in 1908, sits on just under an acre of land. It is located about 15 minutes from downtown San Diego. There is a great outdoor space along with beautiful rooms with original hardwood floors and windows. The space is best used for photo shoots and filming. We are in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and shops in downtown La Mesa.

Lighting description
The home has some original 110 plus year old windows mixed with new windows. We have either curtains, blinds or shutters that can be used to control the lighting. Part of the home has southern exposures which can get quite bright. We have northern exposure, as well, which is always a bit softer. We have window coverings all throughout the home.
Space is not soundproof
Ambient noise description
We are up on a hill so sounds can travel up but do not have any neighbors close to us as we are on an acre of land. We are in an urban setting and there are the normal traffic noises, airplanes and barking dogs along with the trolley line which is a little less than a mile away.

Equipment loading description
The house is up on a hill from the street, accessible by stairs or a steep driveway. The driveway will be cleared for you so you will have access to that space to unload, park , etc..
Staging area is available
We do have a separate room and bathroom that can be set up for makeup, wardrobe if needed. Please note there are no curtains in this room but the bathroom has a slider door for privacy.
All rooms are available for shooting
Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

-Furniture can be moved upon request (please put back once you are through)
-Trash cans are located on property (please dispose of your trash properly)
-Original hardwood floors are very fragile, so care will need to be taken
All ages are allowed in the space

Furniture and decorations may be moved
We do have a lot of personal items that are very meaningful to us so please use care whenever moving any furniture or decorations.

There are security cameras on the outside of the property.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures
The house is cleaned and sanitized professionally.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
