About the Space

This is a bright, naturally lit bakery and coffee house offering an amazing space for private meetings, retreats, film production and evening birthday parties and rehearsal dinners. We also offer in-house catering from breakfast to dinner, custom cakes and dessert table. The event space is a 1,200 sq ft retail bakery that seats 25 with individual tables, a community table, and window bar space. Standing room can accommodate 50-60 guests. There's a large counter space for buffets and drinks. We are a BYOB facility. This space offers a bright and modern environment with 2 walls of windows and natural light, a polished concrete floor, white tin ceiling tiles and Edison light fixtures that create a soft, clean inviting space. There are two outdoor patio spaces on both Broadway and Norwood with tables and chairs for summer enjoyment. Space usage is flexible but perfect for private meetings, film production and evening events; mature birthday parties, meet-ups, pop-ups, dinner parties, bridal showers, and wine tastings. Available rentals include: Monday all day Tuesday all day Thursday-Sunday 7pm-11:59pm

Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The space and Kate are both great! We loved being able to gather our family to have dinner and celebrate without having to go to a restaurant. We ordered food and it was pretty good. I would definitively recommend.

Kate was extremely helpful and accommodating on a last minute shoot. This is a really great space - clean, great size - I highly recommend for a small party or film shoot. The bagels are really good, too :)

Having my wedding at Edge of Sweetness was a dream come true. We wanted something warm, home-y, and filled with lots of delicious goodies and pastries...and Edge of Sweetness delivered! They were so helpful throughout the entire booking process. And on the day of, they made sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests never had to want for anything! The food was delicious, the coffee was great, and the atmosphere was inviting. We wouldn't trade our experience for the world. Thank you Paige and the rest of the team at Edge of Sweetness for making our special day EXTRA special!
