Our mission is to create unsurpassed glass art and share the joy of glassblowing with the public. This space is ideal for groups looking to learn something new together. Glassblowing is very much an "easier said than done" craft, so learning it hands-on makes for a great communication-strengthening activity. Our studio is 2300 square feet with high ceilings, bright white walls, and large windows. It is handicap-accessible with plenty of room to stretch out with concrete flooring throughout. The space includes a glass gallery full of gorgeous hand-crafted pieces of art. The facility's standing capacity is 30 people, and there is enough table space and seating for about 10. In the past, we have hosted corporate outings for different companies from a tequila manufacturing team to LinkedIn. Feel free to bring your own food and beverages and take advantage of our kitchenette space with a fridge, sink, microwave and toaster oven. We are also more than happy to work with caterers.
Please wear all cotton or natural fiber clothing (jeans and a t-shirt = good!) and closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes, sneakers, boots = good!). Long pants are required for participants under the age of 18 (no shorts). Pull long hair up and away from your face. It gets quite toasty in our studio, so bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. There is plenty of parallel street parking across the street from the studio. Do not park in front of the neighbors' spaces. Please arrive to class 10 minutes early so that we may begin our session promptly on the hour. All classes are for ages 12 and older The event will last around 2-4 hours depending on how many people are in your group. We require a minimum of 6 people and allow a maximum of 30. You are more than welcome to bring food and drinks. We are also happy to work with caterers. Alcoholic beverages are only to be consumed after the participant has made their piece.
