Our space is an open 35-foot by 60-foot loft with a flexible set up, ideal for parties, events, relaxed performances, and film. It includes a coffee bar, WiFi, Air Conditioning, refrigerators, couches, tables, and chairs. There is a small performance area at one end of the room that can accommodate a cabaret-style performance or discussion panel. It is surrounded by large windows for ample natural light and a view of the surrounding neighborhood. All rentals include setup and teardown time. Please inquire for details about staffing. You do not need a membership for ala carte rentals. We do not host pop-up night clubs. There is a cleaning fee that covers sweeping and mopping the floors, taking out the trash, and wiping down surfaces. You will be required to place all of your added decorations, food and drink in the nearest trash can or take them with you. I am a theater guy with over 20 years experience in Non-profit theaters and schools. Our space includes one room in a performing arts incubator space including a dance studio, rehearsal rooms, office space and an art Gallery.
Smoking/Incense/Flames: No smoking anywhere inside the building. No incense, candles or open flames of any sort. Pets: Only service animals are allowed in the building unless you receive prior approval. Housekeeping: Each renter assumes responsibility for returning the space to a good state before they leave. If you are serving food or Alcohol, there is an $80 cleaning fee added to the rental. All lights, air conditioner, heater, fans and electrical equipment must be turned off. Please, no glitter. Security: Each renter assumes responsibility for the security of the space during each rental period. Renters are required to return the space to a secure state upon leaving by locking all exterior doors. Parking: Meter and street parking is available in the neighborhood, and Metro buses serve the area. There is an underground parking garage located at 1110 N. Western that is available per hour or per day. The parking garage may be free after 7pm weekdays and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Free parking is based on availability and is not guaranteed. This venue was perfect for our event and John was an incredible host! He was able to answer all my questions very quickly and was on site if we needed anything. We had such an amazing time here at Thymele and all our guests were very impressed of the whole layout. I highly recommend this place for all types of events. Thanks again John for having us!

John was very responsive and helpful when we had questions, and his venue manager Amy was also really great at helping us keep our event running smoothly on the day of our wedding. Both of them are friendly and professional, and our experience was really enjoyable and free of unnecessary stress. The space is beautiful and welcoming, with cool vintage furniture and decorations that make it a fun and unique venue for a wedding. I felt that it was a really excellent value, a lovely place to marry, and the perfect place to have made this leap into the future together. Highly recommended!
