Hi there! This space was custom-designed from the ground up by local artisans and artists to be a high-end event space for the Bay Area. We took everything we learned from our success at our first Peerspace location to create this truly unforgettable event space. This brand new location is truly a undiscovered gem in the East Bay arts and community scene. The space is 3,500 square feet of beautiful large skylights, tons of exposed brick, steel beams, and old timber. The space has been recently renovated by hand (including my hands) and we have built in everything we can think of with the finest detail into this project. Weekday (Monday - Friday afternoon) hourly rate is $96/hour as listed! Weekend rate (Friday night through Sunday night) is $149/hour, please make note. As a Peerspace "Power Host", I've hosted more than a hundred special events and celebrations of all types and I'm happy to work with you to customize the space to fit your specific event needs. We have seven handcrafted designer tables and seating for up to 75 people at a time. A few of the tables are 12 foot long tables that can be linked together to create a single 36 foot community table to seat 50 people together at once! We can add additional furniture (not included) to increase seating capacity to 120 people. The Gorgeous Modern Event Venue supports local artists and features gorgeous handcrafted tables, fine art, and decor that all created by local Bay Area residents. By booking with us you enable us to keep the gallery completely free for our local creative residents to showcase and sell their amazing work. So thank you! We provide a high-end professional music venue system, wireless LED customized lighting, an HD cinema projector, 200" movie screen, custom built photobooth studio with vintage props, a catering room, smart locks, a high-end laptop, and most importantly, some of the best customer service and event support you will find. The A/V package comes complete with a dedicated A/V technician along with all the equipment (speakers, microphones, stage, projector, movie screen) for $200 flat. The Gorgeous Modern Event Venue is located in the West Berkeley neighborhood. West Berkeley is an up-and-coming part of the East Bay that is full of young families, artists, and technology companies. There is street-parking available, both metered and non-metered...and best of all the venue is extremely accessible from the freeways and highways (right of I-80!). Weekday (Monday - Friday afternoon) hourly rate is $96/hour as listed! Weekend rate (Friday night through Sunday night) is $149/hour, please make note. High-end custom photobooth with vintage props is $200 for unlimited photos or $5/photo session. A/V package is $200 fee to setup the projector, movie screen, wireless mics, and professional audio system. Basically, we operate a "leave no trace" policy. We will clean thoroughly before you rent so that is sparkling upon your arrival. We will take care of a full cleaning after the event, but ask that you remove anything you've brought in. We have great catering partnerships for food and/or alchohol if you're interested! You may bring in any food you like. You may bring your own catering service as well. You will be responsible for any significant damage done to the facilities or products in the space. Normal wear and tear, however, is not a problem.
What a great space! Very versatile depending on your group size and purpose. We used this space two different days for two very different sized groups and it worked perfectly. Easy to find, free parking not far away, and the team was great to work with.
The meeting venue was fabulous as always. Only downfall was the caterer arrived early before our Directors were there, no one had opened the venue yet so the caterer left and we were stuck with no food/beverages. Disappointing but will definitely use the venue space again.
Everything was lovely! I can’t recommend this place more. Furthermore, I needed to push back my shoot by 1.5hrs at the last minute (photographer was running late), and Sara was wonderfully accommodating. I couldn’t have been more pleased (and relieved!!).
This is a great space, with super helpful staff. Nice location, with some street parking around it. The only negative fact is the stage is kind of dark, so if they could upgrade the lighting on the stage it would be great.
Booking with Sara was super easy and she was speedily responsive. The night of our event, Ben went above and beyond to help us get everything we needed, and my family loved the service. My mom’s birthday party turned out really nice and it will be a night to remember. Extremely happy I chose your venue and definitely would book again. This space is simply AWESOME!!! My guests couldn't stop raving about it. Truly a hidden gem! The booking experience was super easy with Sarah. She responded to any questions quickly and was very friendly. At the event, I worked with Ben who was AMAZING! He set up the place just as I wanted and was available for us all night long! So glad I chose this place to celebrate my big 5-0! love love love
