These spaces are located in the walk-out basement of a brand new, tropical modern home in Los Altos Hills, nestled among oaks. Private entry via outdoor stairs off the driveway. Indoor spaces in this listing are 1700 SF (in a 6400 SF home), with an adjoining outdoor space of over 2000 SF, partially sheltered by a roof overhang with built-in electric heaters. Areas included are in the bottom left quadrant of the birds-eye view in the last photo in the listing. The centerpiece is a gorgeous movie theater that seats 15. Adjoining the theater is a dining room for 12, facing a modern wine cellar. Walk out to a massive sheltered patio area with beautiful oaks and distant bay views. This area features a full sized bocce court and a giant chess board. The patio can accommodate seated dining for 40+ guests in spring, summer or fall. Also, this a great location for an outdoor movie screening, with comfortable seating arranged on the bocce court for up to 60 guests. Note that production bookings do not provide arrangements for dining, and exclude the kitchen and guest suite with the purple sofa - areas pictured in the last six photos of the listing. They do include access to the wine cellar dining area, theater, bathroom with shower, sauna and all exterior spaces pictured (chess, bocce, outdoor shower). We reserve evenings and weekends for event use, so please request shoots during business hours when possible. (M-F, 8am-5pm)

Very accommodating host, located in the beautiful foothills with views of the bay and hills. Would book again. Options to create content inside and out

Worth trying, options to work in different areas for shooting

Though the host tried her best to help, we had constant troubles with the Internet and connectivity. It's a beautiful space and perfect for a wine tasting. Unfortunately, we only wanted to do a private showing of a team event, and the connectivity issues and lack of instructions provided for a less-than-desireable experience.

Great place!

Great location, inside and outside with stunning views and privacy! The on-site coordinator made the difference - Rita helped us organizing the cooking, setting everything up (table for food, cooler for drinks, etc.) and was always one step ahead of us in making sure they feel fully comfortable.

host was very responsive and flexible. the space for most part is as advertised and easy to figure out although i had trouble figuring out how to play a music video in the theater. I utilized the available spaces (wine cellar, basement theater, hallway/stairs, outdoor chess patio, and aerial drone footage) for photo and film shooting. Very professional environment.

My review of this property was definitely mixed - and mostly because of the host. We booked the property to shoot some videos for a professional website. The property itself was very nice - but people need to know that the rental is just for 2 rooms in the basement - an in home theater and the wine cellar area (access to a bedroom shown in the pictures is prohibited), and an outside area with a great view. The inside area is very narrow and is a little difficult to navigate. But again, overall the property was nice. My issue was with the host. I had called her a few days prior to confirm, and she said someone would meet us. Then she emailed me and said she had been mistaken, that no one would meet us, but gave me info on how to enter the basement property. When my group arrived, there was someone in the house (we could see through the window), so rather than enter the basement directly, we rang the doorbell. She came to the door, but rudely asked "Did you NOT get the instructions?" Well, yes, we did, but when you see someone inside a house, the instinct is to alert them that you're here. No? So, we went downstairs and started to set up. We'd been there less than a half hour when she interrupted us to ask us to move our cars because she needed to leave. (We had parked where she asked, but OK we moved them.) Then, later, she returned and began making noise in the main house, washing dishes, clattering in the upstairs portion of the house. The house is open via a staircase to the basement area and it echos, so we could hear her. We had to re-shoot several sections because the audio picked up the noise from upstairs. It was very frustrating. We called up a couple of times, and she FINALLY stopped making noise. Note that the house also has almost no cell phone connection. I, personally, have not used Peerspace before. But my video person has and she said that she had never had such a bad experience with a host. We were both amazed at her overall rudeness. Therefore, even though the property is nice, I can't recommend it to others.
