Booked this space for a photo shoot in the early afternoon. This space got a ton of great light through the two large windows with plenty of access to outlets to plug in our lighting. Our host was present and super helpful to get us started. This space is located in a balcony above a busy market, but being on the second floor made it feel private enough to get our job done. And the staff of the downstairs businesses were very polite and accomodating. This is a great alternative to the more typical white-wall studios with rich wood and brick backgrounds. Would definitely book again. Thank you!
This is a hidden gem in a cool part of the city. The loft space allows for a private and cozy feeling in the midst of a vibrant urban atmosphere. Jen was a ridiculously awesome host, and created a summer Italian feast for us that turned out totally perfect. Jen was delightful to work with throughout the whole process, and guided me through all the details in a way that allowed me to enjoy the night without stressing. I’d love to find a reason to use the space and work with Jen again. Thanks again, Jen- we are really thankful for your help in creating such a special evening.
This was a fantastic space for a meeting. My organization has volunteer board members spread around the state, and we needed a space where those of us in the Puget Sound area could meet in person and have everyone else join via GoTo Meeting. Jen was there to meet us and get us situated. Everything we had asked for was in order upon our arrival, no detail missed. We met from 10:00a to noon and there was just a bit of background noise from the buildings air handling equipment; there was no material noise from the public traffic below the loft. Overall it was a great environment for a meeting. We will be back!
If you want a cute, fun, modern, hip place to host a get together for an intimate group, this is it!! All of the guests for our event were impressed by how cool and hip this space was. I think it should be noted that the actual space is more spacious than the pictures make it look. But as great as this space was, the best part was Jen! She was so open with communicating needs and expectations. She was really helpful with the supplies and amenities that she has. She offers light catering with the space (for an unbelievable rate) and if you get a chance, TAKE HER UP ON IT! She does a fantastic job setting up fruit, nut, charcuterie and treats. Everyone was raving about the spread (make a special request for her curried cashews!!). One note, is that she is still working on how to cool the space down. It does get a little toasty up there, but if you stand by the windows or by one of the fans she has set up, it’s not a big deal. I am trying to think of another even to host, just so I can book this space again!
I highly recommend this cozy loft space for workshops and classes! I hosted a group of seven student for a technical business class. We were all able to access WiFi, which made it easy to screenshare my presentation. Greenfire is such an inspirational, creative space for learning. It's located inside beautiful Melrose Market with great options for food and drinks before class. Jen is such a pleasure to work with. She's incredibly responsive and is an excellent host! I can't wait to teach here again!
