* $60 per hour and $300 6 hour day rate through December 2019 (Production Only). After December, normal rate is $100 per hour. My space is located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and serves as an art gallery and performance space. Events extending past midnight will be billed at an additional $50 per hour. The building is a former foundry and most of the walls in the space are century old cinder block, brick or stone. Everything (literally everything) is painted ghost white, which works nicely with the different textures of the walls. The space is very cozy and has the feeling of a childhood dream fort. People are immediately at ease when they enter and it's often hard to get them to leave. The main room is approximately 400 sq ft, with 20ft ceilings. There are four skylights which bring in tons of beautiful natural light during the day. There is a working wood stove which is fun and cozy for the Winter months. If you plan to use this during your visit, we'll need to discuss before hand. I have installed both fluorescent ceiling lights and a warmer flood lights on dimmers. Both can be turned on or off based on the mood of your gathering. The room off the main room (The Cave) is about 100 sq ft and has 8ft ceilings. Two of the walls in this room are drywall and the other two are stone. This room has one simple strip of track lighting. Above The Cave is a room accessible by library ladder. The room is an amazing retreat from the main floor, especially during events. It has deep built-in lounge benches (soon to have custom cushions). There is also a skylight and a window looking onto the roof. This room has the same measurements as The Cave. The lighting is warm floods.

The host was extremely responsive thank you Stephan and Dorian for an amazing space and an amazing night. The space is so unique and relaxed. It looks exactly like it does in the picture. Everyone immediately felt comfortable. I threw my girlfriend her 21st birthday party there and she absolutely loved it. We put curtain lights all around the walls, made crepes all night, and even had a backdrop on one of the walls for pictures, then of course lots of balloons. Awesome night, thank you!

This space was PERFECT for our needs. Working with Stephan and his gallery manager was great. They responded quickly and were flexible and super friendly. They made sure the space was clean and repainted when I arrived and answered any questions that I had. I would work with them again in a heartbeat. For your info while looking at the listing that isn't completely clear: the table in the pictures was not there, nor was the clothes rack. This was great for us, because we needed the space pretty empty. They did have a different white table that is pretty big and wide that is not pictured. This space also does not exit directly to the outside, it is in a building on the first floor with a few other studio spaces. The general hallway is clean and there is a buzzer so people can be let in without having your door person standing at the main entrance. We set up signs with the buzzer number and had no problem at all drawing our crowd. It all worked well for us, and although the lack of direct street access was not ideal, it was well worth it for such a unique and awesome space.

Stephan & Nate were very helpful and accommodating from the time I first viewed the space to the completion of my event. It was a pleasure to work with both of them. I hosted my first event in the gallery so I had lots of questions and Stephan was very responsive each time. Many of the guests were very impressed by the space and asked how I found it.
