Our family owned recording studio is centrally located between Los Angeles and Orange County in the vibrant city of Long Beach, CA. The studio features custom acoustic panels and walnut woodwork, a Yamaha grand piano, Hammond organ and an analog recording console. Furnished with mid-century modern couches, modern art, and framed classic black and white photographs the space has a unique, one of a kind charm. Our live tracking room measures 17' x 20' x 11' and features custom velvet upholstered walls, bright track lighting or programmable LED lighting for different moods. We also have an isolation (iso) room which measures 9.5' x 8' x 9'. Our control room design was inspired by the classic Gold Star Studios (where Phil Spector and the Beach Boys found their sound) and measures at 13' x 13.5' x 9'. The control room includes comfortable seating, state of the art monitoring, and a large double paned glass window with a view directly into the live room. No computers or screens are visible. Full talkback between rooms is available via the recording console. Please inquire for a full equipment list. Other amenities include our hand painted Ms. Pacman arcade cabinet from 1982, additional lobby seating, and a separate artist lounge/kitchenette with complimentary snacks and plenty of Topo Chico (a favorite around these parts). The space is perfect for live tracking, rehearsals, film and photo shoots, music workshops, and more! Walk through the same doors as music legends Terry Reid, Jim Keltner, and Mike Watt, and create your own piece of music history. Pricing includes in staff engineer.
