Street parking is generally available on Market Street or adjacent areas (particularly north side in Duboce Triangle), within 1-2 blocks of our space. Be careful of signs and restrictions. For more parking tips please contact the host.
REGULATIONS ❧ No smoking on the premises (including backyard); smokers must be in front of venue at the curb ❧ No shots may be served as part of any beverage service or bar packages ❧ Outdoor patio closes at 10PM; no loud noise at any time outside ❧ Overtime is charged at 1.5x hourly rate (no partial hours allowed) ❧ No confetti, glitter, adhesives, or other decorations which may damage flooring, paint, or otherwise cause a delay for our custodial team are allowed; guest must clear any and all decorations with event manager prior to the event. Additional cleaning fee / damage charges will apply if this rule is violated. ❧ No pets allowed ON-SITE STAFF Staff will be on location for the entirety of the event, ensuring the success of the event and also for maintaining the rules and regulations of the venue. Venue staff is required (no outside staff except food catering). ADDITIONAL EVENT INSURANCE Guests must provide proof of insurance (venue-specific) and valid permits for all outside vendors. You may obtain by reaching out the email@example.com for recommendations. LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT All rental times must include any needed set up and tear down - please arrange w/ host. All load-ins and load-outs must take place within the designated timeframe agreed to in advance. If there is an event prior to yours, a timed delivery will be required. Guest is responsible for checking in and/or handling any items brought into the venue. Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Everything went so perfectly. It was a surprise 30th birthday party for my fiance. The place was so cool and people were so amazed by it. The staff was great. Especially the bar tenders. But over all such a great night. And thanks to Nate and hit team, we will neve forget it.

Cool vibe of a speakeasy and great staffing & management. Felt well taken care of. It is a low ceiling if you have a lot of tall people. I recommend getting the adjoing patio as well - most people migrated out there as the evening progressed.

My birthday party ended with me crying after leaving the event because of how poorly my best friend was treated by the owner, Nate. I was so upset by it, I cried twice that night and am still bothered by it. In the beginning, Nate was highly responsive as the other reviewers mention. Up until payment was received and 2 days before the party is when things quickly went downhill. I have a problem with being quoted an amount and then being charged higher than what was quoted. Nate gave me the same quote for the alcohol add-on three separate times, but in the end, I was charged more than what I was quoted. It was foolish of me to have quickly paid off the balance and not realize this until it was too late. He gave me another quote he claimed was all-inclusive for additional rental time, but I didn't find out until after the invoice that he added on a bunch of additional fees and expenses. Even though he removed some of the additional fees, I was still paying more for what I was quoted yet again when that is not what I agreed to. I had paid for the "elevated bar package" during dinner, but after we both agreed on downgrading, I have yet to hear about the refund for this amount. Nate blatantly ignored my follow up about this and I doubt I will ever see this refund. It would be something else if the bartender actually served us the "elevated bar package" during this time, but he absolutely did not. So I paid for a service I did not receive and the owner won't give me a refund for it. When Nate first toured the space with me, he mentioned being able to use the storage room to keep coats and things. Throughout the night, my guests told me how rude the staff were in telling them to stay out of the room and there was a theme of people saying how snooty and uppity everyone was to them. We are understanding people about not being allowed in certain areas, but it is rude to yell at people that they can't be here or there, instead of politely informing people about the imaginary red tape they can't cross. The icing to my birthday cake was when he forcefully grabbed a drink from my best friend's hand at the end of the night, went up to her face, and repeatedly kept telling her she had to leave when she was trying to help me carry things out. 5 of us along with the other staff witnessed how rude Nate was. I honestly couldn't believe it. It doesn't help the situation when other people had drinks as well, but he had to target the one black woman in the room. When there is a group of people trying to pack up and leave together, it doesn't look great when you are kicking out the one black woman alone. I was enraged by this. At least one of the other staff came back out and apologized, but it doesn't remedy the situation by far. I understand there are rules and I know all of my guests obliged, however, there is a difference between enforcing rules and common decency with respect. Nate was not great about hiding his bad attitude throughout the night and had the audacity to tell us he didn't have to defend his actions. He single-handedly ruined my birthday party.
