This classy private home is a 1400 square foot Villa with unique architectural details. It has wonderful open spaces with cool angles, high vaulted ceilings, gorgeous cherry stained maple kitchen cabinets, a dining room with a bar height table and chairs, an open living room with a comfortable leather reclining couch and love seat and a Bed & Breakfast style gas fireplace as well as a built-in TV and sound system. It is a Mission-style Villa with an open floor plan including the kitchen, dining room and living room. It is a light-filled home featuring soaring vaulted ceilings, dormer bump outs, half round windows and a skylight for lots of natural lighting. West Coast Villa is located between San Francisco and the Silicon Valley in the East Bay with easy freeway access and plenty of parking. This is a unique property with tropical foliage in front and rear yards and has beautifully landscaped gardens with many Palms and native plantings as well as flat grassy areas. Ideal for commercial and film shoots with - large rooms that flow from one to another - lots of light - neutral to warm colors - simple, new furnishings - no heavy draperies or rugs - a large open kitchen with attached dining and family rooms. We have hosted more than 10,000 guests from 60 countries of the world who have had an amazing variety of needs. Lots of natural light through large windows. If needed, we also have 3 bedrooms which can be used for wardrobe changes with closet organizers for hanging clothes and 3 bathrooms for make-up and hair. The standard rental includes over 600 square feet of interior space. Dining Room: - One bar height rectangular table with seating for 6 - 8 - Additional table and chairs can be added with seating for 4 - Great natural lighting - Skylight - Dimmable lighting Living Room: - High vaulted ceilings - Plenty of natural lighting - Gas Fireplace - Built in stereo and TV - Great natural light, large windows Bathrooms: We offer 1 - 3 Unisex bathrooms depending on the rental use The main bathroom will be available for all rentals All other Rooms / Services The remaining 800 square feet of space includes 3 bedrooms and 2 more bathrooms that are normally locked off / off limits unless there is an expressed agreement for their use. This space is a private family residence. However, if this additional space it can be made available for an additional charge of $100 per hour. There will always be an on-site manager present in case you need any assistance throughout your booking. We are 1 mile from BART and Uber / Lyft serve the area very well. We are 2 blocks from Safeway and a few fast food restaurants.
OVERTIME Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated by 10 p.m. and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. This is a pet free, smoke free and drug free property. West Coast Villa is committed to providing our guests with a safe and smoke-free environment. We charge guests a minimum of $250 if there is evidence that smoking has taken place in our homes or on our properties. FURNITURE Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. Please use coasters on all wooden furmiture MISCELLANEOUS No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke. Outdoor BBQ's are permitted. Alcohol is limited to beer and wine only and your insurance policy MUST include coverage for this. No under age drinking is permitted. INSURANCE Guests must provide additional insurance and valid permits for all vendors. We must be named as also insured. - We recommend https://www.theeventhelper.com NOISE We have neighborhood noise restrictions There can be no outdoor amplified music Music, noise levels, etc. may not be heard beyond the property line. All events must be over and cleaned up by 10 p.m. due to neighborhood noise curfews. PARTIES We have very strict guidelines for parties. Full disclosure of your intentions must be made in advance. If you are planning a wild, loud or drunken party - this is not the home for you. Although our preference is for an alcohol free event, if you are planning on serving beer or wine you MUST have insurance that includes coverage for this. We may require you to hire a licensed bartender and you must supply designated drivers or use Uber / Lyft service for any guests who have been drinking. TRASH Your rate includes a cleaning fee for normal wear and tear. However, we ask you to remove all trash and place it in the designated trash bins. Dishes should be rinsed first and placed in dishwasher
Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
