Are you ready to have your mind blown? Joshua Tree artist Patrick Hasson (creator of the world-famous Rancho De Colores, which has been featured in USA Today, Vice, Desert Sun, etc) spent the last 2 years hand-painting, designing, and creating the most unique and mind-blowing film/photo location on the planet...THE RAINBOW HOUSE. Prepare to take your film, photography, social media projects to new heights at this one-of-a-kind, livable art retreat. The space is a 1300 square foot psychedelic desert retreat with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, laundry room, 2 large patios, a cowboy pool, fire pit, climate-controlled Rainbow Room, rainbow backyard, and rainbow outdoor bathroom. The property sits in the heart of Joshua Tree Village and is a 4-minute drive Joshua Tree National Park. The one-of-a-kind retreat features rooms every color of the rainbow outfitted by the artwork and furniture of artist Patrick Hasson. The house isn't just an art retreat, it is a piece of art, including an art garden and various murals throughout the property. It is the perfect venue for film/photo/commercial shoots, music video shoots, yoga/art/writing retreats, unique weddings, music shows/concerts, album recording, stargazing, camping, and anything else you can think up.

- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Space has access to outdoor air ventilation

We rented Patrick's space to shoot a music video. It turned out to be a perfect space for what we were needing. The art inside and outside the house is awesome, especially the piano. The views from the property are great as well. Patrick was super communicative and helpful.

Patrick is the man. There’s really nothing else I need to say but I will for the sake of Patrick’s review. My company had a photoshoot for a specific collection with about 50 pieces of apparel. Patrick’s colorful space seemed perfect for the pieces and we couldn’t have been more right about that. Every single piece was shot all on Patrick’s property and every single corner was used for each piece. Every shit came out completely different. It couldn’t have been a more perfect fit for what we were trying to accomplish. Not only is Patrick extremely accommodating but he’s also just a cool human being. If you’re looking for a colorful place with a fun atmosphere and inspiration then I highly suggest check out Patrick’s spot.
