Our multi-purpose space is a unique place to delve into your creative or community event. 1,200 sq ft of sprung, thermally heated dance floor offers an open space for rehearsals, meetings, or workshops. Riser seating provides racked viewing for 68 people, ideal for presentations or performances. Fantastic West facing windows provide abundant natural light, while our mix of LED and halogen instruments provide a small but versatile theatrical lighting plot. Located in a storied artist cooperative warehouse block in the Mission District, with convenient access by BART and MUNI. Our room is best suited to quieter events. We are not able to have amplified musical instruments in consideration of our sound limitations. Please note there is no kitchen onsite.
Sound: - Sound levels must stay at or under 85 decibels at all times (both amplified and acoustic sound). - Drums and amplified instrumentation are not allowed - All amplified sound must cease at 10pm. Lighting: - Only staff can operate the theatrical lighting and its use must be contracted as a part of the rental. Premises: - Our venue is a part of a large complex of studios. We are only providing our studio as a part of any rental. None of the courtyards, parks, or parking lots within proximity to our space are included or available for use. Set-up and Strike time: - All rentals include any load-in, set-up and strike time as necessary. Please inquire for details of staffing provided. Liability Insurance: - All rentals are required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance covering all anticipated events (i.e liquor liability if serving alcohol). Fire: - No fire is allowed in our room. No candles, no incense, no open flame. - No Smoking Food & Drink: - Are allowed.
