FAQs 1) Where are you located? We are located in north Atwater Village 2) Is there parking? There is plenty of free street parking available. We have a driveway for loading and unloading. 3) Can I bring food from the outside? Yes, you can! We can even accommodate a food truck parallel to our driveway. 4) What if I have more then 40 guests? We can accommodate up to 100 guests with advance notice. The pricing structure does go up according. This guest number applies to all people over 1. 1-40= $175 Per Hour 41-50= $200 Per Hour 51-70= $225 Per hour 70-80= $250 Per Hour 81-100= $275 Per Hour 5) What does this rental include? The initial rental is for full usage of the outdoor space including a play area, sandbox, play structure, private bathroom, and light kitchen use. 6) Does the inside space for party purposes come with the rental? No, but you can add on the full usage of the inside space, including the living room and dining room area for an additional $50 per hour. 7) Does the venue come decorated as seen in the pictures? No, the full table set up and decor is an additional $200. We offer a free party consultation and accommodate any basic color palette requests. We will set up the tables, table covers, flowers and (when applicable) candles. You do not have to include this setup time in your booking and we will clear the tables away. Otherwise, guests must plan to bring their own folding table and chairs and include the setup and clean up time in their booking. Please note this $200 set up fee will increase based on the number of guests or table needs. 8) Can we bring balloons, confetti or pinatas? We are a green, eco-friendly space. We have five chickens and function as a preschool during the week. We, therefore, ask guests to not bring balloons, confetti or pinatas tas as these items can be choking hazards and are pretty bad for the world at large! The space is peaceful and magical you won't really be missing the balloons! We can accommodate a small selection of balloons or one or two helium balloons. 9) Can we bring a petting zoo, face painting, or a performer? Yes, just please let us know prior so we can discuss set up details. 10) Do you allow for set up time? Please include set up and clean up time within your booking. The rental begins the moment you or a party associate or vendor enters the space and ends once they leave. 11) What happens if my party runs past the booking hour? Overtime of $5 per minute will go into effect. 12) What does clean up look like on guests end? Please simply make sure all food is thrown in the trash, all furniture that is moved druign party is put back and all times such as large boxes are taken away. We handle rest! 13) Will there be someone to assist me? Yes, your booking includes at least one onsite manager who will help you with any setup or breakdown needs. 14) Is there wireless? Yes 15) Can I play music? Yes, we also have a speaker system and Alexa wireless. Please let us know prior if you plan on having live music. 16) What time must the music stop? By law, we must turn down all music at 10 pm. With capacity for up to 40 guests, the dynamic outdoor space is suitable for a range of activities, and our in-house team is available to create custom event packages tailored to your event needs. Tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood, the location is easily accessible from DTLA, Glendale, Burbank & Hollywood. There is ample free street parking as well. PROVIDED WITH RENTAL: 1. One onsite assistant to help with set up and clean up. Assistants will not move heavy items or be responsible for blowing up balloons at the time of event. 2. 1 site visit + planning consultation prior to event 3. Modern, kitchen equipped for light catering prep 4.1 Private restroom for guests 5. On-site manager available throughout booking to assist with questions 6. Lush outdoor garden featuring succulents, lounge furniture, and light shading overhead for a relaxing event atmosphere Add Ons: +$50 per hour usage of indoor space/living room +$100 Partial Decor: table decor made form natural materials, pillows, runners +$200 Full Decor: table decor, extra pillows, runners, special order flowers, candles and lamps (we do not use balloons because we are an eco-friendly school). With full decor we will work with you more closely to get the look you aim for if you have something specific in mind or a specific theme. +$10 per guest. We will create a fun art activity that your guests can take home in lieu of party favors. Our activities and take home gifts are unique, artistic and environmentally friendly. We help you create gifts that your guests will remember and cherish forever! +$65 Face painting for 1 hour! +$150 music, soccer, gymnastics specialist will visit your party for 1 hour!
1. For environmental and health reasons we do not allow balloons, confetti or other disposable plastic decorations that could impact our space..or the world at large. 2. All guests must purchase event insurance. We recommend www.eventhelper.com 3. Rental of our outdoor gardens is exclusive to the outside space with limited potential use of the kitchen. Guests may not occupy the inside area otherwise.The rental rate show is exclusive to the outside space. Guests can rent the full space/inside space for playing and dining for an additional $50 per hour for up to 40 guests. $75 per hour for 40-50. $100 per hour for 50-60. 4. The space is a smoke-free free zone. We will automatically charge a fine of $275 if guests are caught smoking on or in from of the premise. 5. Furniture can be lightly rearranged with hosts permission and if put back as found. 6. The driveway if for loading and unloading only. 7. An refundable security deposit is also required which is 20% of your total booking fee. 8. Outside food & beverage is permitted, please clean up before departing the space. 9. All boxes and recyclables must be taken away, we can only service two large garbage bags of food and waste.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
I did extensive searches to find a venue for my daughter's first birthday that would meet all our needs... a space where kids could have fun and enjoy the outdoors, a space where adults would be able to relax and enjoy their food and drinks knowing that their kids and grandkids were engaged in enriching activities, and a space that provided the flexibility for us to bring a variety of foods and drinks to meet the different tastes of our families. After finding this space and seeing the reviews of other parents who had great experiences hosting their children's first birthdays, we decided to book. And we are definitely glad we did! The location met all our needs. It was such a nice change of pace to see all our nieces and nephews playing outdoors and just being kids, instead of their faces being buried in phones/iPads/Tablets as is typically the case at family events. Our family dog was able to come and really enjoyed the chickens in the coop. Maha was very gracious and patient with us (and with my dog barking at the chickens!), checking on our needs throughout the event but never being obtrusive. It was a positive experience and we highly recommend the space.
We held an amazing springtime event here with kids crafts, cookie decorating and an Easter egg hunt. The space was perfect and well equipped to host 35 kids. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone booking a children’s event in Los Angeles.
We used this space for our son’s 1st birthday party and it was absolutely perfect. All the kids had a blast with all the activities and play stations! All the adults were able to enjoy themselves too because they knew their kids were in a safe environment. Maha and the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this space.
We booked this space for my son's 1st birthday and I have to say it was beyond beautiful. Very unique and special party. Maha was wonderful as well, and ready to answer any questions and help with requests that I had. They even allowed us to have a small farm petting zoo at his birthday which completely complimented the whole barn theme we had. Everything was beautiful and most important everyone had a wonderful time.
This space is MORE beautiful in person! Maha is wonderful and had everything ready for me when I got there. She gave clear instructions on what do before we left (one or two things) and everything else was taken care of! I rented this out for my 30th birthday and it was the most perfect place. She has a few options for playing music which was great and there are little activities and games around the space that my guests had fun with.
