Enjoy a beautiful and historic space for meetings, workshops, retreats, salons, meditation groups and more. Host your group in a giant living room + office in a community home of professionals in Oakland. The energy and character of the room are truly special - you'll feel it the moment you step in. The size of the living room is roughly 750 sq. ft., with an additional connected office offering another 150 sq. ft. which is included. If you wish to host an event with seated dining, you'll need to plan on bringing tables and chairs as the living room only has couches and window bench seating. Note: there are residents actively living in this home, so you may hear/see people coming and going through the front door. EXPECTATIONS PRIOR TO YOUR BOOKING Guest will connect with the Host 2-weeks prior to the booking to set expectations

• Absolutely no smoking - if your guests smoke, they can go outside in the front of the house • No pets or animals • No permanent changes to the room (screwing into the walls, painting, strong adhesive, etc.) • Furniture arrangement - you are welcome to rearrange the furniture to suit your needs as long as you return the furniture to how you found it before you leave. • Clean up - the cleaning fee covers deep cleaning, but you are expected to tidy up after your event. This includes removing your supplies / materials, putting furniture back, picking up any trash, etc. • No loud amplified music - please be mindful house residents and keep noise levels reasonable • Do not park in the driveway, this is restricted for residents only. You can park anywhere on the street. • Hours / end time - your event must be done (including cleanup) and all guests gone by 11pm at the absolute latest. • Attendee capacity - there is a 20 person limit to events • If your event will include anything aromatic, we ask that you open the windows to vent the room. • Fireplaces may not be used

No, I would not book again.
Apparently I was their first rental, so there's one extra start for being a novice Peerspace Host. Scheduling was easy. Communication was great. The space was dirty with stains, dust, and food crumbs on the floor. We had to clean before starting. There are 14 people living here. Interruptions, noise, and random people in your background are included with photo/video shoots. This space is probably better for meetings. As it is, I wouldn't recommend for photo/video work.
