All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

Our 4,000 square foot meeting space is custom built for executive meetings, creative strategy sessions, or team building workshops. Escape your cubicles and step into a world that combines design, technology, and service to create an atmosphere for seamless, efficient meetings. Our guests will enter the second-floor loft and have access to a space that features two fully private meeting rooms: The Studio Room and The Lounge. Overlooking green parks in NYC’s Lower East Side, our studio comfortably sits up to 40 guests on our couches and assorted seating. Teams can also pull the accordion wall shut to create two fully private meeting rooms. Connect to either of the 65” monitors on swing arms to display presentations, and utilize flip charts and other meeting facilitation supplies to generate ideas. The Lounge is equipped with two drop-down screens for projecting, which makes it the perfect setting for important presentations and intimate screenings/conversations. Additional areas including a wooden nook as well as a niche near the reception desk are perfect areas for individual phone calls. Our guests will have access to a functional kitchen that includes cafe tables, high top tables, and stools. The lounge area is ideal for casual conversation or relaxation in between sessions. Your rental period grants you full access to the following amenities and supplies needed to carry out a successful meeting: A/V Package: Dedicated 75mb Wifi (2) 65” Plasma screens Apple TV (3) Handheld Wireless Microphones (4) Slider Advancers (2) Mounted Projectors / Drop down screens (2) Polycom Conference Phones Meeting Supplies Package: (4) Post-It Flip Charts w/Markers Assorted office supplies, tape, scissors, etc. Dedicated Venue Manager & Concierge on-site all day. Printing (50 pages max), messenger service, car service, and errand running.


 
General Rules
CATERING & STAFFING: Catering: Menu Items plus $100 Delivery Fee per Caterer Additional Staff may be required depending on the size of your meeting: $60/hr for Venue Manager and $40/hr for Concierge. LOAD IN & LOADOUT The load-in of any rentals, catering equipment or additional supplies must be approved by Host. Deliveries may be scheduled to arrive at the Premises in advance of the Event if mutually agreed upon by Host and the Client. Shipping boxes to or from the Premises may require additional fees. All deliveries must enter via the service entrance and come through the service elevator. FOOD & BEVERAGE Host requires that all food and beverage be handled by our staff or by the staff of a certified catering vendor. Catering selections must be finalized no later than (5) business days prior to the start time of the Event. Client shall be responsible for providing final guest count no later than (72) hours prior to the start of the Event. Final charges will be based on this guest count and cannot be changed after this time. Alcoholic beverages will not be served, given or sold to anyone deemed intoxicated or unruly, or to anyone less than 21 years of age. OUTSIDE VENDORS Client hereby warrants and represents to cooperate with Host to contract outside vendors, make any and all payments due to outside vendors. The client will be notified of all obligatory costs due before Host confirms with outside vendors on behalf of the Client. Our staff will supervise all outside vendors during the Event. Every vendor must schedule a site visit at the Premises prior to the Event and must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance. OUTSIDE MATERIALS Any outside materials, such as signs, banners, displays, name tags, decorations or special equipment must be submitted in writing for approval no less than (72) hours prior to the start of the Event. Client is responsible for removing all outside materials at the conclusion of the Event. Client acknowledges and agrees that Host bears no responsibility for items left at the Premises by the Client or its attendees. Host requires that only Our staff move any furnishings, including, but not limited to, artwork, lamps, antiques and seating. Host strictly forbids the use of nails, screws, staples, penetrating items, glitter or foil (non-paper) confetti. Client shall not mar, paint, drill into, damage or deface any part of the Premises. Client may use low tack tape to affix materials to the walls or floors of the Premises. HOST BRANDING AND ART Host reserves the right to approve or withhold the use of Host’s name and logo. Any photographs of Premises shall not be used for commercial use unless first submitted to Host for approval. Photographs of artwork shall not be used for commercial use unless first submitted to the respective artists for approval. FIRE Smoking is prohibited throughout the building. No open flames are permitted in the building other than votive candles. All decorations must be fire retardant. Use of open flame or gas for cooking is prohibited. Sterno-heated proofing cabinets are permitted for warming. INSURANCE Client will obtain a Certificate of Insurance naming Host as Additionally Insured.

Cancellation Policy

Grace period
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
