This space is a mid-19th century farm which has been privately restored to its original colonial-era grandeur. Facilities include barns, gardens on 19 acres, and farmhouse furnished with period antiques and working fireplaces. The buildings are solar-powered. The property is framed by two ponds and many miles of woodland. The venue is best suited for groups of 25 or less who are looking for a unique space to conduct a retreat, meeting, private gathering, workshop, photo shoot, outdoor function or just relax. No weddings or banquets, sorry. Encounters with livestock (horses, sheep, chickens), horse or tractor-drawn wagon rides, bonfires, ice skating, guided hikes available at an additional cost.
Guest must provide certificate of $1mil liability insurance with host named as additional insured. No exceptions. Consumption of alcohol must be agreed upon in advance with host. Local permit to serve alcohol may be required. Food may be catered or provided by guests. Smoking is not permitted in any building. No candles inside barns. Onsite lodging is NOT available.
