We're offering a genuine World War II era Officer's Wardroom on a historic Victory ship. This is the space on the ship that the officers used for dining and for meetings. It is ideal for a business offsite meeting for a small group. The space is 10' X 24' (3.0 X 7.3 m); seating is available for up to 18 persons but the room will be most comfortable with 16 or fewer attendees. Each seat has working table space of approximately 24" X 13" (61 X 33 cm). LARGER OPTION - available in the form of the Cargo Hold 4 of this WWII Victory Ship, which accommodates up to 150 people and is perfect for larger events and meetings. Please find the corresponding listing here: https://www.peerspace.com/pages/listings/5a14682cd8e0b30b00b9277b There is a pantry area with access through a serving window to the wardroom. Attendees can organize their own caterer to provide food and drink or we can provide coffee, drinks, or a light breakfast, lunch, or dinner for an additional fee. It is just a short walk down the corridor to come out on deck and see beautiful and expansive views of the San Francisco Bay Area. Tours of the entire ship are available for attendees by prior arrangement.
Guests must be able to walk up and down stairs both to board the ship and to get around inside the ship. For safety reasons, only closed-toe, low-heeled shoes are to be worn on board. Certain spaces of the ship are off-limits to visitors and we ask our guests to respect this rule. Please note that the ship is not accessible to those in wheelchairs, with limited mobility, or with balance issues. The ship is available to all ages but very small children must stay with their parents while on board. In the summer, we rely on the cooling breezes of the Bay to moderate the temperature on board. In the winter, especially in the evening, the interior spaces of the ship can be cool to the point of discomfort for some people. Electric space heaters are allowed if you wish to bring them. Quoted rental costs are for use of the space for up to five hours. If guests need the space for more than five hours, there will be an additional hourly charge. Guests may arrange for their own catering and bar service or we can make those arrangements for an additional fee. Facilities are available on board for keeping food warm and for refrigeration. All guests, caterers, and guest equipment must be off of the ship by 10:00 PM.
