This 2000 sq. ft. loft is in the heart of DTLA's Historic Core. It is a corner unit on the 10th floor and light spills in through massive factory-style windows. The skyline views can simulate LA, New York, or a number of other cities. The loft features 14' ceilings, three bedrooms and two full baths, living room with TV and 100" projector screen and a full kitchen. DTLA is one of the hottest areas of Los Angeles with new bars and restaurants popping up every week.
The price applies to a cast and crew of 8 people in the unit at one time. We are able to accommodate much larger crews but a different set of rules applies with the building. We are also potentially able to make price/hour exceptions for very low-impact shoots. Please inquire if your shoot falls into either of these. Here are answers to some commonly asked questions: Is insurance required? For crews larger than 8. Is there Wifi? There is 50mb wifi and hard line connections throughout. Outside noise? Minimal. Is filming allowed in the common areas of the building? Filming is strictly only allowed within the loft unless previously arranged. What is the power capacity? ~200-300 amps. Can we load in early? Please inquire, but generally your scheduled time includes any load-in and load-out. Can we scout the location? Yes, we allow one scout before booking. Additional scouts are only allowed after the booking is confirmed. Can we go longer than our scheduled time? Yes, overtime will be charged at time and a half. Is there parking? There are many lots nearby, larger productions typically rent a lot around the corner. Thank you and we look forward to hosting your shoot!
Matt’s space was beautiful and lived up to our expectations. He was a tremendous help and we could not have been more grateful for the accommodation and hospitality. Our cast and crew found the entire experience a true pleasure and it helped us to get awesome content. A million thanks.
