***PLEASE NOTE WE ARE ONLY CONSIDERING DAYTIME RENTALS AT THIS TIME *** Our space is a collectively directed art space in Brooklyn, New York. Functioning round-the-clock as a center of multidisciplinary experimentation, our venue is a place to produce, present, and interact with art of all forms. By night we’re mostly a music venue. By day we’re happy to use our space to support a wide array of projects. We have hosted rentals for theater troupes, independent filmmakers, CBS, New York Magazine, The Daily News, MoMa Teens, FIT, Sad13, & more. Space Features ● 1200 sq ft venue space with 6 folding tables and 15 chairs ● 3200 sq ft yard with two picnic tables ● Multiple entrances from sidewalk and yard space for easy load in and load out ● 2 Bathrooms ● Full PA system with microphones, a drum kit and guitar and bass amps ● Bar with access to sinks and toaster oven ● Two projectors and a pull down screen ● Modular heptagon shaped stage that can be cleared out of the space or rearranged ● Various lighting options: track fluorescent lighting, sound sensitive light orbs, large front window for natural light with a thick curtain that can block sunlight. ● Room can be built out into different sets ● Sound engineers or bartenders can be provided upon request! People often ask us if they can utilize our space for its exterior — to show a band leaving the gig, a chase scene on the sidewalk, or for a private meeting in the yard. Our venue is located in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, a stone's throw away from the Myrtle-Broadway stop off the JMZ line. A quick walk down the street reveals a pretty classic residential Brooklyn vibe with the occasional graffitied brick building. We are also located down the street from a lot of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. Our venue is a space of aggregation. We have murals on every wall, show-goers write us messages in the bathrooms, and we even have a “free shelf” for anyone to take or leave things they don’t want anymore. Renters either take advantage of our colorful object laden interior or they block it out all together (like in the pictures to the right) and instead use us for our large open space that makes it easy to build room-sized sets.
