Our artfully designed space is the ideal venue for small groups who are looking to connect, unwind, and learn about the allure of letterpress printing. Aside from providing a unique space to socialize in, staff can be made available to guide guests through a customized printing experience on our vintage presses. Our space is perfect for small creative groups, baby showers, wedding showers, low-key bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. Event Amenities: Amenities include accommodation for up to 40 guests, two large glass top tables for beverage/catering set-up, wood top counter space for non-catering set-up, seating for up to 12, a small kitchen prep area, and a storefront bay door that opens the studio space to the vibrancy of the North Halsted Street/ Boystown/ East Lakeview corridor. Professionally Guided Printing Activity: Events may be booked solely for use of our space, or with the addition of a print activity in which Double Trip Press will provide paper, ink, and one-on-one printing instruction using one of our PRE-DESIGNED images. When choosing the print activity option, each guest will go home with a handful of prints to frame, gift, and share. Printing Activity with Pre-Designed Image- $75 Additional This option includes the option to choose from a variety of already existing images designed by the talented printshop staff. Printing Activity with Custom Designed Image- Starting at $150 Additional This option's base pricing includes one single-color custom printing plate up to 8"x10". Additional design and material costs may be added depending on the size, quantity, and complexity of the custom print activity.
Food & Beverage: Groups are expected to provide their own beverages and catering, however we have many wonderful catering suggestions that we are happy to share. Non-Smoking Establishment. Pets are not permitted. Press Equipment: A working print studio contains large mechanical printing equipment, that if not used properly, may cause injury. We prohibit guest interactions with press equipment at all times, unless it is under staff invitation and supervision. Furniture can only be moved by the host upon request. Trash should be placed in the bins and the host will take care of the rest.

Great space, friendly staff & a great activity for a group! We were able to have a fun private happy hour in a casual but trendy atmosphere AND create custom prints for the team to make. The team was super easy to book with and very helpful. I would recommend to any small group looking for low-key team building and hope to host another event with them in the future!
