BOOKING ONLY FOR SAME HOUSEHOLD (PARTIES OF 4 OR LESS) + ONE MAKSED PHOTOGRAPHER PHOTO SHOOTS AT THIS TIME DUE TO COVID. 500 SQUARE FOOT SPACE. Our backyard Golden Garden is a magical location -- with epic lighting for photo shoots of all types! The area is secluded and cozy with plant life. There is electricity, a bathroom with a sink, and a dressing room. The space is rustic modern. Our 1920's brick building makes for an excellent backdrop, as well as the metal fencing that surrounds the garden.Clothing and editorial photo shoots come alive with all of the texture and greenery. It is a dreamy space for engagement photos, weddings, holidays, and birthday shoots.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.

Everything was amazing!
I held a small ceremony, 15 people in total. The space worked perfect. The event lasted 3 hours, we were allowed to bring in our own sound bar for ambiance, the host offered small appetizer and dessert platers. Alcoholic drinks where ordered at the bar, and they where very tasty. My favorite thing about the venue was the natural décor of the nursery and the shop itself. My guests enjoyed walking around and buying their own keepsakes from the ceremony. Mel and her team were great, they made the entire process easy and stress free. I also worked with Tanya for my bouquet and flower accessories, they where beautiful and cost effective.

This space was every bit as beautiful as this image. I was blown away as soon as I stepped into the garden by how stunning every detail was. Melissa had set their beautiful wooden banquet tables with wine glasses and beautiful linens. Nothing else was needed to make this space feel both beautiful and inviting.

Everything was fantastic! Mel is amazingly organized and experienced in hosting at this incredible space. We were able to throw my wife's surprise birthday here with ease :) Highly recommended!

Overall we had a lovely night at our event, however we were a bit frustrated with certain elements of the experience. PROS: -Beautiful, unique space with lots of plants -AWESOME service from the bartender, she was very personable and attentive throughout our event -Able to use outside catering -Blocked off part of the store for our event which was really nice -Whitney of @sugarandbite was so lovely, and made the coolest cake pops for dessert! CONS: -Event coordinator didn't show up to our first meeting (and didn't call/text to say she couldn't make it) -On the day of our event, we were told our event would not be private even though we had paid for private space and gone over the details with the coordinator beforehand. Be sure to confirm in writing exactly what you are booking and whether the space will be private or if shoppers will be able to come in. -Event coordinator was unavailable for periods of time during the event which was challenging when we needed her assistance. -Though beautiful, the dried flower arrangements attracted a lot of flies. Not anyone's fault, but something to be aware of if you're booking an event in this space. We had a great night, but were a bit underwhelmed by the organization of the event. Also, we felt the venue was very expensive for what is included in the booking so just be sure to clarify ahead of time.

Everything was clean and in place when I arrived on the day of the event, so the set up was quick and painless. Melissa checked in throughout the night and was very helpful with re-stocking and clean up. I absolutely recommend this space if you're looking to host a casual event for 30-40 people.
