This venue was gorgeous. Needed to have a reception together in 48hrs and they made it happen. The space is so creative to include beautiful lighting, tables chairs, and linen eliminating the need to have to worry about decor. The host response is great. My inquiry was answered within an hour at 8pm at night which eased my worry. of all the host were both so nice, sweat, and just helpful. I really appreciated how helpful they both more. Many of my guest raved of the venue and inquired about use of the space for future events. I will definitely be back.
We rented the Shelby space for a video shoot in July 2018 and found the space really great for us! The owner Layton is really nice and accommodating and the site manager Layssa was very sharp and a pleasure to work with. Loading in there are two double doors that face the parking lot so we could load in our gear very quickly and easily. The power is sufficient enough that we did not need a generator. The space had dimmable chandeliers and accent lighting along the walls that can be shifted any color. The parking lot is huge and can fit 50+ cars. They do a "lock-out" style rental where much like an AirBnB, you enter with a lock box code and have the place to yourself. The polished concrete floor was great. It reflected light in the most beautiful way. There is an additional space next door called the SOL, that we rented to have basecamp, wardrobe and HMU that had additional bathrooms and couches for talent & client to utilize. This was important for us as we had 40 people involved in our shoot. I recommend renting both spaces if you have more than 20 on set. There are very limited days/times to tech scout, so communication can be tough. Be sure to discuss arrangements and technical questions prior to the shoot since there won’t be a house representative on the day. We had a great experience and a successful shoot.
