WHO WE ARE So many businesses start off in garages, we decided to make our garage a business too. We first noticed the potential for this space while shooting a short film in 2015. With backgrounds in advertising and production, from producer to camera operator, writer and director, we are production people through and through who understand the needs of your project. Or else we're willing to lend an ear if we don't. We offer a private, rustic-modern, mid-century home available for your needs, with attached, heated garage studio complete with sound dampening foam insulation for audio recording, and equipped with a generous supply of gear for whatever your production needs. If we don't have it, we can get it. Since 2015, the garage has undergone extensive renovations to suit production needs including a 107” wide seamless green backdrop for photo/video content (various backdrops available upon request), a rolling 90” x 60” table top cart for product photography, capabilities for full-body portraiture, interviewing, set pieces, "poor man's process" for cars, bikes, boats, water skis, or whatever you can imagine (ask if confused). Our studio is up to 40'x27' of space with 10' ceilings. WHERE WE ARE Located approximately 100 miles in either direction from New York City and Boston, and situated along the southeastern shore of Connecticut in the town of Stonington, we offer a destination outside of the hustle and bustle of metropolitan areas. Whether you're coming this way for a project, or enroute to your city of choice and need a studio along the way, we are just off I-95 and close to all that the area has to offer (see below for a list of local venues). Whether you're looking for an offsite space to have meetings by the brook, a studio for shoots, or an inspiring location to host a think tank seminar, our space is multifunctional and unique like no other. Additionally, we are surrounded by 500+ acres of pristine, untouched Connecticut woodlands. Our goal is to clear your head so you can focus on your project while removing you from the stress of city life. All the while creating an adventure within our secluded, serene setting. Awesome space and a very nice experience. Chris was a prompt and accommodating host. We completed our green screen shoot in great time. Very good set-up and a comfortable, very cool home. Exteriors are awesome too! Thanks.

Had the pleasure of shooting at the Garage Studio this week. Large, flexible space with everything you could possibly need for a successful shoot. No matter what you're looking for this location has it. Plus, the owner is an incredible photographer and even helped us with some technical stuff we were struggling with. Can't recommend this space highly enough. Looking forward to shooting again there soon.
