The only pleasant experience was comfortable seating arrangement and Adam's hospitality and support. Except Adam, they are very defensive and take no responsibility when any issues were addressed and they only blamed on the guests. I actually e-mailed them to see their opinion, the response was also defensive and full on blames. -The entire building apts are under construction, super loud and disruptive which we were not informed about it. When the issue was addressed, they blamed on us for not telling them to inform construction guys to stop working? They knew the the purpose of the meeting, and as a host, It's their responsibility to provide comfort. - Bathrooms: Plumbing was a big issue and entire day went by filling up the toilet water tanks, carrying buckets of water to the bathrooms to fill up with water. When the issue was addressed, we were blamed on putting paper towels to the toilet. Although the water tanks have nothing to do with it. The main issue was tanks were not filling fast enough and they didn't take any responsibility for it other than blaming. - Catering: I recommend guests to arrange their own independent caterer. Despite the fact that dietary needs were addressed so many times (they could check the e-mails and peerspace inbox), they blamed on us not to communicate well. Based on their menu options and the the quality, we definitely we ripped off. Both days we had to leave early, and paid about $5,500 and our disappoint was more than our pleasure.
The Space is AMAZING and worked perfect for what we were filming. There was construction happening upstairs which we were able to work around by buying some coffees for the construction workers and asking for 15 minutes of quiet:). Jack/Tim were excellent. I would have done the dishes (we used some beautiful glasses supplied by Jack) but the dishwasher was already full from a previous booking. Will for sure book again!
As a fashion photographer and creative director I am always looking for a set, an enviornment that will compliment my story. I knew I need couches, vivid colors, and that old, classy vibe. This was it. The space was so huge, so I had so many different options to shoot my story as if I were in a few different locations. Tim the host was very accommodating, and kind, and I would definately consider returning, or plan a gathering there. The only thing, was the noise from the construction going on upstairs, however, not your fault. Sincerely, Sylvia
