This is a language school that hosts students from all over the world. Our space is located in downtown San Diego in the Gaslamp District. It is also right across from the trolley stop on C Street. We offer flexible spaces, which can be set up in a variety of ways to accommodate your small or large meetings, training sessions, or small events. We offer our rentals WiFi, access to our kitchen/coffee, and helpful staff. GLC: Multipurpose meeting/event space This large space, of approximately 500 square feet, can be set up in a variety of ways to support conferences, speakers, and different event types. We have 8 tables (on wheels), which you can organize to suit your needs, or which you can remove in favor of standing events or seats. Up to 50 chairs available for stadium-style seating. - 65" Touch-Screen TV with Win 7 computer as well as Word 2010 Suite (video cables for MAC and PC laptops provided) - Sound Bar Surround Sound - Microphone - Small PA System - Mobile 72"W x 40"H Magnetic Whiteboard with Markers
All renters should dispose of any trash in the provided trash cans and return the rooms to the setup provided. If you contract us for use of one of our larger event spaces, we will work with you prior to the rental to ensure that sufficient trash/recycling bins are provided. Food/beverages are allowed. We have water pitchers and cups that can be used for your meetings. Two single-serve coffee makers are available in our staff kitchen for small meetings of up to 10 people. For training sessions, we can provide a 12-cup coffee pot in the room. For any larger events, we ask guests to provide their own coffee. Again, we ask that our guests clean up after themselves. Rooms each have a default setup, but we can provide additional seating or varied setups if requested. Just ask us for possibilities! Our business closes at 5:00 M-F. We are able to accommodate later rentals at a higher price. Please contact Fernanda for help with arranging after-hours reservations. Space is not available during weekends. All bookings must include any setup and breakdown time on either end of your actual event that your group may require.
