Hey there! Welcome to our Artist's Loft (and home) available for filming, concerts, and events! We are located right near the crux of I-5 and I-10, just 7 minutes south of the Arts District in East LA. In our roughly 1600 sq/ft of floorspace at Weber Rations Studios, we have a fully furnished kitchen, bathroom, an operational 12x10x1 ft. stage (complete with PA's, subs, mixer, backline, and a rear-projection system), an artist's studio, beautiful skylight, private garage entrance, and a bedroom ready to be dressed how you want - perfect for a short film! Also, available for rental, is a plethora of film equipment, grip equipment, a Sony A7sII w/ Canon 24-70 and 70-200, and a jib. We have a fogger, 6 LED overhead stage lighting with gels, and remote controlled warm-white LED net lighting on walls with 8 patterned presets. We have duvetyne to cover the skylight in addition to Black, Dark Green, and Blue Checker fabric for dress behind the stage. Additionally, you'll have access to the full Weber Rations crew-- we regularly shoot 3-camera productions of concerts in our space and have many combined years of commercial and artistic experience. We are happy to help with your production: we are DP's, coordinators, PA's, gaffers, and sound engineers for hire on your project. Record your album with us too-- our backline includes a variety of synths, a drum kit, orange and roland amps, basses, and guitars. One of our staff must be present for all events and filming. FILMING: - Half-day = 4 hours - Full-day = 8 hours - 1 hour grace. - Permits recommended for shoots involving equipment trucks. - Security guard fee at $30 an hour for all crews in excess of 25 people. - Quiet Hours: Midnight - 8 am EVENTS / MEETINGS / CONCERTS / PARTIES - Capacity is 120 people. - Event must end by midnight, and be cleared out by 1 am. - Irreparable damage will result in immediate termination of the event. - Weber Rations reserve the right to record any show. MUST FOLLOW ATTENDEE PROTOCOL: - Security guard fee at $30 an hour for all events in excess of 25 people. - Must have rough guest list (for security) 24 hours in advance event. - Must follow email RSVP procedure for public, open invite events. - Bags will be checked at entrance. - We reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone. - Guests must either be in the space or across the street, no hanging in hallway. ALCOHOL - Please research laws regarding alcohol sales for your event. - Patrons visibly intoxicated (beyond reason) will be removed. - *donation jar* recommended for merch/refreshment sales. ***No Tobacco Smoking indoors. VIOLATION OF ANY RULES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF THE EVENT. SAFETY IS PRIORITY!
Jack and Sabrina was awesome! They're very responsive. I had a ton of questions about the space before the event. I used it for a luau themed party and it turned out to be amazing. They were super helpful before and during the party. Overall amazing experience. Highly recommend!
