Newly renovated retreat with 2 buildings that have 4 distinct meeting spaces for flexible use. Perfect for an off-site team meeting, rejuvenation retreat, private classes, or artist's inspiration with ocean views and the sound of crashing waves. The "Snug" building has a large open floor plan that can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people with two large conference tables that can be configured to meet your group's needs and includes a Wi-Fi enabled 55" Smart LED monitor and dry wipe board for presentations. There's also a loft with a ping pong table and a separate breakout room with sofa and chairs. The studio apartment includes a kitchen area, Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee, creamer, and sugar, electric tea kettle, stainless steel mini refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, sink, and toaster oven. (There is no oven/stovetop.) The bathroom includes a vanity sink, toilet, and shower. The lush grounds boast expansive views of the ocean, patio with bistro table, and bench seating tucked into the wildflowers. Muir Beach is only 14 miles from San Francisco, but it feels like another world! Take your team to the beach, hike one of many trails, or explore the redwood trees at Muir Woods. Eat lunch at the Pelican Inn or have it catered in to enjoy on the patio; you might just see a whale swim by!
Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or damage or theft to any of its contents, including appliances, tableware, linens, furniture, and/or not adhering to the following house rules: 1) Parking for one car in front of our house and four cars maximum in driveway. 2) No overnight guests. 3) Maximum capacity is 20 people. 4) Please be respectful of our neighbors. 5) No pets. 6) At check out, the doors must be locked and the keys left in the lock boxes. 6) No hot tub use or building fires on the property. 7) No access to the main house. 8) Not suitable for children under age 12. Please note the $75 non-refundable cleaning fee. Early departure does not warrant any refund of payment.
Everything about this venue screams "rent me for a retreat!!!" The setting is spectacularly beautiful and the amenities are perfect for a team of any kind to engage in collaborative thinking, team building, and long term planning. I brought my senior management team here for a day-long retreat. Delicious coffee left by the host helped us wake up and get started. The main retreat space was fully stocked with a mini-fridge, pens, white board, wonderful tables and comfortable chairs, a space heater and everything we could need. The kitchen and bathroom spaces were clean and beautiful. We took a lovely short walk to the beach for a mid-day break and to spend some time playing. I was able to use nearby restaurants and stores that were on my way in order to provide food and snacks. We look forward to coming back!
The location can't be beat! The space offers enough natural light and beach views that you're continually inspired - but also allows for you to put your head down and get stuff done!
Debbie was so helpful through every step of the process! We had a team off-site in her space and she was very accommodating of our requests, super responsive, and flexible based on our needs. The location is beyond stunning and very inspiring with magnificent ocean views. It was an easy drive from SF and yet, we felt like we were a million miles away. The space was perfect for our team's off-site with plenty of seating, GREAT location, and cleanliness. Will book again!!!
