Situated on a beautiful property with chirping birds, a quiet creek, and nature all around. This 3400 square foot, single level home was designed for the owners of what was Salem's largest private employer by architect Robert Byrd and completed in 1954. It boasts a unique style and history shared with other Byrd homes located around Hollywood and built for celebrities. Byrd's designs often incorporate curved elements (windows, eaves, and walls) and extensive brick work. Many of the used bricks from a now demolished Oregon State Penitentiary show foundry marks from the 1860's and 70's. It is a working farm and has many on-going projects on the property.
