About the Venue The multi-purpose space is located in the heart of Historic Ballard — directly on Ballard Avenue. We can host a wide variety of activities including — team meetings, offsites, fundraisers, brainstorming sessions, etc. This historic space features gorgeous finishes, exposed brick, marble bar-tops and it's own bar. We offer multiple options based on your unique event size and needs: -Capacity 105 -2,000 Square Feet (approximately) -Tabled Seating for up to 60 -Communal table for up to 14 -Skylight/views of the Historic Ballard Avenue -Bring in you own beer and put it on draft Party with Purpose We are Seattle’s only event space that donates 100% of profit to charity — empowering you to make the world a better place while you celebrate. Drink up! QUESTIONS: Do you really donate all profit to charity? WE DO! It might sound crazy but there are actually existing organizations already doing this — Newman’s Own for example. We cover our overhead (i.e. facility costs, labor) then donate the rest. That’s it. What charity does my event profit go towards? Up to you! If you have one you already love we’d love to contribute to them! If not, we have 3-4 rotating charities working in diverse areas that we’ve developed personal relationships with. We’d be happy to briefly share what each organization does and you can choose one you’d like your profit to go towards. Are you looking for charities to add to your recommended list? Always! We love connecting with and learning about great people working with great organizations doing great work. If you have a non-profit you love (or work for one) send them our way and we will reach out to connect and learn more.
FOOD AND DRINKS Guests are encouraged to bring in their own food and alcohol. Should the guest serve alcohol they will be responsible for obtaining a banquet permit — this is $10 and can be purchased online from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board. EXTRA ACCESS • Time will be added in 30 minute increments to any bookings should guests show up before their scheduled event time, or stay late . RESTRICTIONS • No Smoking. • No nails, screws, staples, tape or gummed backed materials may be used to attach or affix anything to the furniture, walls, or building. • No glitter or confetti of any kind is allowed on site. • No sparklers, Roman candles, or fire producing gags or effects. • No face painting, hand paints, stains, or other similar activity allowed. INSURANCE Additional Event Insurance is required and may be obtained through Eventhelper.com. Please list the host as additional insured.
We had a wonderful experience at The Cathedral! We held a 3 day - all day workshop for 25, and the space was perfect! Working w Nate and his crew was seamless.
