Experience an oasis created especially for the individual who yearns to be free from the monotony of concrete and small spaces. Upon walking through our doors in our 6000 sf space, our patrons are treated to the most unique experience the city has to offer with whimsical design, rich ancient cuisine all while in the privacy of your own tent or in the inviting, exotic and opulent dinning room. Cocktail Parties, Dinner Parties of all types, Benefit Events, Fashion Shows, Movie , Video and Photo Shoots, Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, Business Meetings and Presentations, Kosher and non Kosher Events, Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s, are only some of the uses that our space can provide. We offer a large lounge area with a oval shape bar and an oversize wood burning fire place. The large square dinning room has a two steps down area for smaller group dinning as well as for dancing or any type of performing and presentation use. A smaller rectangular private dinning room is perfect as well for other uses like hair and make up for photo shoots or fashion shows. We are in the heart of the West Village of Manhattan few steps from Christopher Street subway station or the Path Train Station. We can provide audio and video (projection)support for presentations and for entertainment. We have an in house DJ, as well as belly dancing performers or any art performers, photographer, flower design, additional interior design and big group transportation. Our lounge area can accommodate up to 150 standing or a combination of 75 seated and 50 standing. The Main dinning room can accommodate up to 250 standing or 175 seated with a possibility of combining seating and standing at all different scenarios. The private dinning room can accommodate up to 25 dinners.
Smoking is not allowed at any time. Pets allowed as long as there is no food served at the same time of the event. We will allowed outside catering for day time events up to 5 pm but not outside liqueur or wine at any time do to to NY State Liquor License Laws. We will work with your vendor or supplier to get invoiced directly with them if specific needs of alcohol are requested. If set up time is required outside of the event day it will be charge on a case to case basis. For after 5:00 pm all catering of food and liquor has to be offer by us. After 5:00 pm events have a minimum spend base on day of the week.
Anastasi is friendly and communicates promptly to inquiries. Tony opened the space on my shoot day, and he was friendly, funny and very helpful. He even kept a look out on my car and told me when it had to be moved so that I wouldn’t get a ticket. The place is huge and has an opulent look and feel to it. The bathrooms are spacious and each one has a different color. The reasons I give the experience 4 stars instead of 5 is because in the last couple hours of my film shoot, (which we all know is crunch time) people started entering and making noise. I believe it was the restaurant staff. However, it was disruptive and a couple of shots got messed up because of the noise. At one point glasses could be heard clanging about. And someone even entered and shouted hello to another person. Even one of my very calm principal actors, got upset and yelled “What is the point of paying for exclusive use?!!” Also, a couple of strangers were brought into the restaurant to give them a tour of the place. Yes, during my film shoot — when I still had a few hours on the clock. This was very upsetting to me. They were taking pictures and walking about (which I had also done when I took a tour, but the restaurant was empty when I came) and I called out to them “please don’t take any pictures of us!” If I had been a major network or film studio, I don’t think strangers would be brought onto my closed film set and given a tour of the place, nor the noise interruptions.
Amazing hospitality and such a breathtaking location. This is a serious gem!!! The owner was so helpful and accommodating. The space is even more beautiful in person, definitely recommend this location for videos, events, anything!
We very much enjoyed our conference day. The Sales Team flew in from all over the US and were complimenting the unique space as it was nice not to be in a traditional conference room setting. The food was DELISH! The Management was very easy to work with and very accommodating. The only thing was the AV for the meeting was a bit of a challenge as the venue had some technical difficulties BUT all were resolved and the day was a success.
Anastasi was very accommodating to our specific requests for the event, and was helpful in bringing our event vision to life! The space is fantastic, and the DJ and bartenders were all very nice and helpful. Would host an event at Casa La Femme again for sure!
The venue is absolutely one of a kind space. I booked it for some photoshoot and because of the variety of the collected furniture and set designs, I was able to make a lot of images in such a short time. Anastasi was very kind and welcomed us, I was happy and also my client for Japan was very happy to, the place was very responsive to all the questions, with the charm and good vibe, I will defiantly recommend you to book this place for any kind of events!
