This is a 1000 square foot flexible gallery, production, meeting, and co-working space. Our large skylight and windows also provide great natural lighting. We have seating for 20; however, we can accommodate 50. There will be an additional charge to order the extra seating. We are located in the up and coming Laurel district of Oakland near restaurants, coffee shops, and retail shopping. Wifi, video monitor, tables, chairs, coffee/tea, and wireless PA system are all included in the fee. There is also space for catering; however, we do not have a food prep kitchen. There is a sink, microwave, and bathroom available for use. This is a great space for small gatherings up to 50 people. It works best for small launch parties, networking, exhibits, poetry readings, or pop up retail events. A host will be present when you arrive for your event. We will have the space set up for you prior to your arrival and the host will help set up any food or equipment you bring. Our space is available for rent weekends by appointment. There is free parking in the surrounding neighborhood and metered parking on MacArthur Blvd. The space is also accessible by bus. We recommend inquiries and/or site visits prior to booking so we can suggest set up and get a clear understanding of your needs.
A $200 security deposit is required for events only. No smoking or pets (service animals only). Pre-prepared food only. There is no prep kitchen. Alcohol permitted on a case by case basis.

Erica and Randolph were incredibly accommodating, easy to communicate with, and very nice people. The space itself was easy to configure and arrange to your purpose. Not to mention, the art work in their space added flavor to our event. I highly recommend booking their space for the nice, airy and creative space itself, but most especially for the ease and convenience in interacting and working with hosts.
Was looking for an art gallery that rented their space for my daughter’s engagement party, so I googled it. I never rented a venue before and had no idea what to expect. I chose RBA Creative because the location is walking distance from where my daughter and her fiancé live and the pictures fit what I was looking for. Erika suggested I look at the space first. After meeting with Randolf and taking a tour, we confirmed the booking. On the day of the event, Randolf and Erika stayed until the set up was taken care of and left us with their number in case of emergencies. I found Randolf and Erika helpful in staging the art pieces we brought, placing tables w/ table cloths out for us, and setting out garbage cans. They had a speaker for music and even opened up the front and back doors to create a breeze. I loved the sandwich board out front that announced the event- really nice and helped the guests find the spot. Had 25-30 guests and they ALL told me during the party or after how much they enjoyed the party and the space. It captured the vibe of the neighborhood and the engaged couple perfectly.
I had a "Sip and See" party for my first baby grandson with 30-35 family and friends. Erica, the gallery owner/hostess made it very easy to book the gallery since I lived in another state. Highly recommend! Great venue with a inviting comfortable environment.
