All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
About the Space
A historic institution in the heart of Ukrainian Village in West Town, our space offers a sleek and inspiring space to host your next event. Its two spacious galleries (roughly 2,000 sq. feet each) are housed in a Chicago landmark building designed by the Chicago-native Stanley Tigerman. Our space is perfect for corporate networking events, presentations, photo shoots, launch parties, and performances. Our exhibitions, displayed and rotated regularly, add to the modern and avant-garde aesthetic. The work of distinguished modernists of the 60’s and 70’s, as well as contemporary artists from Chicago, the exhibitions create an enticing and visually compelling space. The fully equipped kitchen, 10 round tables with seating capacity for 10, 120 chairs, projector screen, microphone, piano and ample street parking all make this venue quite the catch. But don’t believe us, come and check it out for yourself Wed-Sun 12-4 pm.

General Rules
Smoking is not allowed. Due to artwork displayed on the walls and as installations, no kids are allowed (in rare cases, some exceptions can be made)- 18 and over. Touching or moving the artwork is prohibited, all pieces shall be handled by a professional on-sight manager. In the event that the guest damages the artwork, all fines shall be paid by the guest. However, some artwork is designed for you to interact with - will will let you know which pieces you can gently play with. No pets of any kind.

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.Standard 30 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. We had an above-excellent experience hosting an event at the Ukrainian Museum of Modern Art last evening. From the time of our very first inquiry - Victoria (manages the space) was FANTASTIC. And she and her colleague Ashley were hands on and worked so hard on our behalf once we arrived on site late yesterday afternoon. The SPACE is beautiful and as it is made up of two large, beautiful halls - it was really convenient for our diverse program. We held our light reception on one side and then moved to the other for speakers and back to the first side for yoga. TRULY can't say enough about our experience with this venue...except to emphasize that it was SO AFFORDABLE. We will return.

Yes, I would book again.
Great space, our host Victoria was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. The space was clean and the art beautiful. We filmed an interview and some b-roll around the art pieces. The room is big so there is some echoing, but it was quiet. Would highly recommend.
