In the heart of the Ballard Brewery District, this is a private extension of our taproom that is unused during the brew day. We have seating for 48 along two long, live edge tables as the space is generally arranged, and can easily shift the space around to create a round-table atmosphere, or to focus a meeting on the 75" monitor and standing desk. Should a larger group want to mingle, it is easy enough to pull tables out to create plenty of space for people to move freely and connect. We also have floor to ceiling windows, and a large, west facing deck over looking Ballard's industrial core, and the Olympics beyond. Perfect for a photo shoot, or a break during a day of meetings. The Upstairs space is perfect for everything from a board retreat, to a classroom setting, or even a casual lunch. The world is your oyster.
ALCOHOL Our beer is the only beer allowed at events. Outside wine can be served, but must be approved in advance by Stoup Brewing. We also carry a selection of local ciders and non-alcoholic beverages. We are not equipped to serve cocktails, so any outside liquor must be approved by event coordinator prior to the event. For wine and/or liquor consumption, the Renter must secure a banquet permit and provide a copy to host at least one week before event. CATERING Renter may select catering service of their choice and/or bring in outside food. Renter/caterer is responsible for bringing in any items needed for food service. We do not provide equipment or serving utensils. Caterer/Renter is responsible for removal of all service equipment. CLEANING All items brought by Renter must be removed, including all decorations. Special cleaning after an event (for excessive spillage/staining or decoration removal) will be charged to the Renter. Stoup highly encourages the use of compostable materials when possible. EVENT PUBLICITY No promotion, publicity or advertising (printed or otherwise) may state, imply or allude to any sponsorship or affiliation with Stoup unless explicitly agreed upon with Stoup ownership. PARKING There is limited parking at our venue and it is shared with taproom patrons. There is free street parking around. Please be aware that parking on the south side of 52nd is not allowed. SIGNAGE AND DECORATIONS Any signs, decorations or other items required to be tacked, taped, or affixed in any way to the walls, pillars, or any other surface of the building inside or out require Stoup approval. No glitter. TIMING Set-up and clean-up time must be within the rental period. Caterers and others should be instructed not to arrive at the event space before the contracted rental time. Patrons are welcome to enjoy the taproom before or after events during taproom hours .
I was excited about using this space for a couple days for a small corporate meeting, and while I expected it to be good, I was surprised at how perfect it was for us! Adam was a pleasure to work with - very accommodating, friendly, and funny! The space is configurable in a few different ways, there are plenty of tables/bar space for catering, a bit of space in a fridge (which we used for soda and juice), the TV is large and there was a podium to present from, there's also a bathroom in the space (just for your group) as well as 2 more bathrooms just outside the space. We didn't use the patio much, but it is spacious! With the patio door closed, the room is incredibly quiet! We never had an issue hearing our speakers over any outside noise. We had catering for breakfast and lunch on both days and Adam and the staff of Stoup downstairs made sure that our deliveries ended up in the right place. Of course, the best part is that at the end of our days of meetings, we could head downstairs to try all the beer that Stoup has to offer! Perfect venue - would book again for company things and for personal parties! Thank you!
The upstairs space at Stoup Brewery was the perfect place to host our Sales Meeting. Adam did everything he could to make the day and our meeting go seemlessly. He was there bright and early to help us setup the space as we needed. Provided water and drinking glasses as well as space to refrigerate drinks for lunch. In addition toensirinf everything was set up correctly he provided someone to serve Happy Hour which was an added bonus but a huge hit! Everything about the space and service was phenomenal!
We had the space booked for 2 large meetings on back to back days and both went really well! Adam is super easy to work with and they have great food trucks :)
Adam was super responsive so planning was a breeze. We worked with the food truck they had planned for that day which was great. The space was beautiful and was a perfect fit for our large work meeting. Thanks Adam and Stoup!
