We had a really good kickoff here at Draper University for our MidYear kickoff. The event staff was very helpful with giving us keycards and providing working A/V equipment. They let us bring our own food and beverages and had a great kitchen space + plenty of serving tables. Next to us is the kitchen for the next-door restaurant, but there were no noise complaints. This place used to be a hotel and has a beautiful poolside dining view. My engineers enjoyed playing ping pong, fuseball, and corn hole while on breaks. They made sure to prevent disruptions from students living on-site by placing signs and that was super helpful! Great location near caltrain and restaurants all around. There are a few things to consider when booking this space: 1) It's a kitchen/dining room for students and you'll need to do a lot to convert it into a conference space for a professional event. 2) Bring your own linens and rent comfy chairs if you don't want the plastic colorful ones provided. 3) The kitchen isn't very clean since it's used by 80 students living there, so you'll have to wipe down the entire space. 4) There isn't a mothers room, you'll need to find another place to do so. Overall, we did enjoy our stay here, and could see a team bonding event being held here in the future. Thanks to Lisa for being so responsive!
