Fantastic space, hidden in an industrial part of Brooklyn. Bret and her team were super helpful and friendly. My client had a great experience, so I had great experience too. Highly recommend, and will return if I have a need in the future.
This event space is incredible. The indoor/outdoor space is open, airy, and a complete oasis in Bushwick. There's an incredibly charming garden with a koi pond. We had several places for gathering indoors and outdoors, and the kitchen was easy to navigate for our staff. Bret is communicative, responsive, and a delight to work with. We received so many compliments on the space, and are so grateful we chose to have our event there!
A big thanks to Bret and Thom for hosting us at their gorgeous space! Bret was very responsive and lovely to deal with. The space itself is beautiful; it's like walking into a secret garden. The interior is beautifully decorated and gets really good natural light throughout the day. It's great space for a small photo shoot or event. We were shooting a lookbook/ video. We had a 20 person crew and a ton of EQ, so it felt quite cramped and we were on top of each other most of the day. The other thing is that there is no AC and with a large crew shooting in the Summer it got pretty hot! The good thing about loading in and out is that the space is on the ground floor so there's not stairs or elevators to think about. One thing to note is that the only entrance into the space is through the garden and you cannot easily wheel anything in or out because of the cobble stones, most things had to be hand carried in. All in all, we were very happy with how everything came out. I would definitely book this space again, but for something smaller.
I had a great experience in this space! The garden is beautiful and so is inside the building. It’s intimate yet spacious enough to be comfortable. The host (Bret) was super easy to get in contact with and she was so helpful. I would definitely recommend this space. I had a very positive experience.
This space is beyond lovely -- like a palm springs oasis in the heart of industrial Bushwick. Bret was great to work with, communicative and kind and flexible. It's highly recommended. Inside you'll find four walls -- one plaster, one of books, a long wall of windows and another with a southwestern adobe vibe. Taste is great; I'd be excited to read most the books on the shelf. Load-in takes a tiny bit of work -- but it's worth it.
