Hi there! This space was custom-designed from the ground up by local artisans and artists to be a high-end event space for the Bay Area. We took everything we learned from our success at our first two Peerspace locations to create this truly unforgettable event space. This brand new location, nestled conveniently in between the historic Union Square and Nob Hill neighborhoods, is truly a undiscovered gem in the San Francisco scene. The space is 1,600 square feet featuring beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, gorgeous wood floors, gallery lighting, and open floor plan. The space has been recently renovated by hand (including my hands) and we have built in everything we can think of with the finest detail into this project. Weekday (Monday - Friday afternoon) hourly rate is $67/hour! Weekend rate (Friday night through Sunday night) is $96/hour, as listed here. As a Peerspace "Power Host", I've hosted more than two hundred special events and celebrations of all types and I'm happy to work with you to customize the space to fit your specific event needs. We have five handcrafted designer tables and seating for up to 50 people at a time. The Exciting Downtown Gallery supports local artists and features gorgeous handcrafted tables, fine art, and decor that all created by local Bay Area residents. By booking with us you enable us to keep the gallery completely free for our local creative residents to showcase and sell their amazing work. So thank you! We provide a high-end music system, wireless LED customized lighting, an HD cinema projector, custom built photobooth, a small catering room, smart locks, a high-end laptop, and most importantly, some of the best customer service and event support you will find. The A/V package comes complete with a dedicated A/V technician along with all the equipment (amps, microphone, and projector) for $200 flat. The Exciting Downtown Gallery is located right in the heart of downtown San Francisco and is extremely accessible via public transportation and rideshare. There are also several parking structures on the block. This space is 1.5 blocks from the famous Union Square and dozens of high-end hotels and world class shopping and restaurants. Weekday (Monday - Friday afternoon) hourly rate is $68/hour! Weekend rate (Friday night through Sunday night) is $96/hour, as listed. You are responsible for removing all items you bring into the space. You may leave trash and recycling for us to remove. Basically, we operate a "leave no trace" policy. We will clean thoroughly before you rent so that is sparkling upon your arrival. We ask that you leave it as clean as it was when you arrived. We will take care of a deep cleaning after your event, however. You may bring in any food or drink that you like. No restrictions or extra charges. You may bring your own catering service as well. No live music. You will be responsible for any significant damage done to the facilities or products in the space. Normal wear and tear, however, is not a problem.
Not all Peerspaces are created equal... and this one stands out! Sarah and her team helped us creatively and logistically deliver a great event. The light, bright space suited our creative morning well, and the space comes with good amenities. I'd happily recommend other suitable groups book their event here.
Great local spot here in SF for mid sized meetings/gatherings. The location has the BEST light and is a very nice/clean open space. This worked perfectly for our group of 20. No complaints!
I have to say we chose this location because of the proximity to the hotels we were all staying at for my wedding. I communicated often with Sarah and Anthony and kept them apprised if my guest count and near the end the setup of the real tables, need for extra banquet tables and chairs and need to drop off our coolers early. The day of the event I came in to find two of the real tables setup with linen, not enough chairs, no banquet tables as requested and people milling about with nowhere to sit. Anthony was able to quickly setup banquet tables that We’re supposed to be set up with food, for people to sit down and eat. All the while the teak tables were under table cloths being used for all of the food and drinks. Super disappointing as the tables complement of the space and where one of the reasons we book the space. Later, we attempted to use the drop-down screen for a slideshow and calls went on answered and we could not find the host anywhere to help us set it up. We’re supposed to be set up with food, for people to sit down and eat. All the while the teak tables were under table cloths being used for all of the food and drinks. Super disappointing as the tables complement of the space and where one of the reasons we book the space. Later, we attempted to use the drop-down screen for a slideshow and calls went on answered and we could not find the host anywhere to help us set it up.
We enjoyed the event, and the space worked out well for us. Your representatives were on time and supportive. Sarah and also the Peerspace reps communicated patientlly with all our tweaks and schedule changes along the way. We had about 30 people there, partly set up with display tables and snacks and partly for a slide show for a family reunion. It was nice and sunny with the ability to draw the shades for the slide show. Thanks.
I loved this space. My group loved the space. The natural light, plants and artwork were all big pluses. Having one bathroom for a longer event with a larger group was a little challenging. The bathroom was not clean and we needed to ask the staff to clean the bathroom repeatedly which was a bummer.
My partner and I hosted a wedding weekend welcome dinner in this space, and it was perfect for our needs! We served our own food and drink. Our guests enjoyed the space as much as we did - we especially loved the open feel because of the large windows. I recommend making your own sign for private parties to place on the entrance door, as we had a couple of strangers wander in - I guess the space looked extra inviting! The entire booking process was seamless, which took a load off for our wedding weekend. Thank you!
