This freshly renovated over 1000 square feet storefront studio in Bridgeport is ideal for intimate, stylish events. Showers, photo shoots, workshops, off site meetings, and more are a perfect fit in this open format space. There is also a yard with a garden, fire-pit, and space for outdoor activities open seasonally (April through October). Parking: Available non-permit street parking on Morgan Street and 37th Street. Transit: Red line stop Sox/35th Street, 1.2-mile walk from the station, or take the 35 bus towards 36th/Kedzie and exit at the Morgan Street stop. The building is 2 blocks south on the left (east side of the street).
Site capacity of 50 people. Events exceeding this amount will be asked to leave. Please respect our space and neighbors. Quiet hours for all rentals begin at 10pm on weekdays and 11pm for weekends. Outdoor noise hours are noted below. No loitering in front of adjacent buildings. OVERTIME - Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. Early access and late departures are considered in overage fees. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. CLEANING / DAMAGES - Cleaning fee is $50 per rental and covers deep cleaning before and after rental, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guests are expected to remove all trash. Guests must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. No glitter/confetti or balloons. Both cause excess cleaning. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be invoiced separately. No smoking. **there is a $100 fine for use of glitter and launching of balloons** FURNITURE - Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. During your event you are welcome to move furniture, however we ask that you return the space to its original condition before departing. Depending on the type of furniture there may be a fee to remove. Removal of all furniture, art, and decor items is subject to a flat $200 fee. OUTDOOR SPACE - Use of outdoor space must be communicated 72 hours in advance of the event. Please be courteous of our neighbors with music and noise levels. All outdoor activities must stop at 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends. Fire pit: Please keep fires contained to manageable size. Do not burn trash. When finished, please make sure the fire is fully smothered. Outdoor space is available annually from April through October. AV - Outside AV equipment must be approved before the event. Audio and bass levels must be respectable for adjacent buildings. Please provide detailed information about technical equipment you plan to bring or any needs, including input methods, and source material, so we can best accommodate. FOOD/BEVERAGE - We do not require specific catering companies. For private events the renter holds liability on all served food and drink. Alcohol is allowed if nobody under 21 is in attendance and no hard liquor is served. Hard liquor may only be served by those with a liquor license. MISCELLANEOUS - There is no smoking allowed in space. No balloons. No glitter or confetti. Hosts are not responsible for any left items. **there is a $100 fine for use of glitter/confetti or launching of balloons**
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

We could not have asked for a better space to host our son's first birthday. Emily's venue is beautiful and unique and has all the essentials you need. It is great as is, but Emily is also super flexible about rearranging furniture, allowing decorations, etc. She was great to work with. We really appreciated her letting us come see the space two separate times before our event so we could plan accordingly. And we received tons of compliments from our guests about the setting. This was a great investment for us, as our home isn't big enough for entertaining. But even if it was, I think we would book here again! It was impeccable when we arrived. Not having to do a deep clean before or after a party? Awesome!

The space is amazing. I booked it last year for my ugly x mas sweater party and had such an amazing time at the venue that I booked it again. This year was even better. The hostess is amazing. She is very kind and helpful and amen able to any and every need. I will be back any time I need a venue. Highly recommend booking here. Absolutely amazing facility and equally amazing is the host Emily! I rented this venue for my daughters 9th birthday party and was nervous about having the party some place other than my home. I had a lot of questions, a lot and Emily was so patient and accommodating in answering each one and proactively checking in with me. Rearranging furniture was not a problem. Her assistant Jeff was also great. Both are just genuinely “good people”. All of our guests had nothing but positive compliments and my son has already told me his bday party will be here :-). The place was stunning. We celebrated my baby shower here and Emily and Jeff were very professional, prompted to response, kind and great to work with. Everything for my baby shower came to life in their Sunny Bohemian space. The space was just as advertised and even more beautiful in person. My family and I enjoyed the decor of the space, the abundance of parking that was available, the privacy windows and doors, the exposed brick, the availability to play your own music and just everything about the space. I would definitely recommend others book this outstanding space for an event you may be hosting.
