Our space has 20 folding chairs and a few stools. There are two folding 5’-long tables and a ceiling-mounted projector. It’s part of a mostly-residential building, so we’re best for quieter types of events, particularly in the evenings. We recommend 25 as the number of people who can fit comfortably in the space. We’re at street level with no stairs and a fairly wide doorway. Our hardwood floor, exposed antique brick wall, and decorative ceiling make it a great spot for photography. Our space can be accessed by many MBTA bus lines including 87, 85, CT2, 86, 88, 90, and 91. Parking is street parking only; it isn't always easy, but it's always possible! Parking is free for 2 hours; after that, you may have access to our two parking permits (please be sure to get in touch with us beforehand so that we can be sure the passes are waiting for you in the space) or you can feed parking meters on adjacent streets.
This space is part of a residential-commercial condo complex, so it’s important that renters are considerate to our neighbors by not making undue amounts of noise. We currently can’t have amplified voices or instruments in the space. No smoking in or around the building please! Your reservation must start at least 30 minutes before the beginning time of your event to allow time for setup and early arrivals. If the trash and recycling bins are full at the end of your event, please take them out to the dumpsters behind the building.
Anney went above and beyond! This a a fantastic place to rent, and an amazing host to work with. We encountered some unexpected issues (time zone glitch in the system? I reserved from the west coast) - but Anney was on it completely, even as she was traveling. I was very impressed. She deserves the full five stars and then some! Folks in the area know of the space as well, and it is clearly well-regarded. A wonderful resource!
