About the Space
Four-story (including finished basement) detached home in Hyde Park with beautiful vintage interior architectural details; two fireplaces; large sunny high-end eat-in kitchen with granite center island and stainless steel appliances; high ceilings; interesting windows; hardwood floors throughout first floor with vintage ceramic tile dining room floor; large marble master bath with two sinks and enormous whirlpool tub; ever-flowering spring and summer garden. Street parking. Suitable for shoots requiring as many as 20-25 crew. Suitable for ads, videos, movies especially with family and home themes. Note: All crew and anyone else who will enter the premises must attest to having had full COVID-19 vaccination (including booster if eligible therefor) as of the day of the booking and must either satisfy an on-site Covid Compliance Officer that they have had a negative COVID-19 at-home test within the prior 24 hours, or, if there is no Covid Compliance Officer on-site, show proof of such negative test to the homeowners. Anyone who is in the house must wear a mask at all times except, if necessary and in consultation with the homeownes, anyone who is actually being filmed. COVID precautions subject to change depending on the state of the pandemic at the time of the production. If the COVID protection guidelines of the producer are more strict than those of the homeowner, the guidelines of the producer will be folllowed. The homeowners wish to be very cautious, while at the same time reasonable.

I used Leslie's front porch and backyard for a photo/video shoot. Her space was a lovely and beautiful setting for what we needed. Leslie and her husband were accommodating and courteous. They had outlets nearby that they allowed to use for our lighting equipment and were readily available if we needed anything. Their backyard is absolutely beautiful and would be a perfect setting for anyone looking to film in a lush, green environment. Their front porch swing was very use for our purposes, and we ended up using it for our video footage. They are the only house with a porch swing on the street -- and it feels like something that's kind of hard to come by in the city of Chicago; a nice feature if you need to use a porch swing!
