SkyHouse Joshua Tree: Private Villa with Pool/Spa

The following is a list of rules and regulations to be upheld by Guest, which includes all event planners, coordinators, vendors, subcontractors, attendees and any other parties involved in the special event at SkyHouse. Access/Scouting: - It is important that you do not walk the property without prior approval from us. SkyHouse is frequently occupied by other guests and trespassing is prohibited. Capacity: - Maximum 75 people Swimming Pool: - All rules for the swimming pool, firepit and other facilities as listed in the house guide must be followed at all times. A copy of this guide is available upon request. Overnight Stays: - This agreement does not confer any rights to overnight lodging at SkyHouse. If overnight stays at SkyHouse are desired, they must be booked through Airbnb directly. Toilets: - All groups over 12 people must provide portable toilets (we can assist you with a supplier, if needed). Insurance and Liability: - Guest shall obtain General Liability Insurance in an amount not less than $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit for Bodily Injury and Property Damage. Such Insurance shall name SkyHouse, TIC as additional insured, and a certificate of insurance with an endorsement must be provided 14 days prior to the event. - Event day insurance may be available through www.wedsafe.com, www.csicoverage.com, www.markelinsuresfun.com or a renter’s insurance broker or agent. - All Vendors working at SkyHouse shall carry and maintain in full force and effect while working at SkyHouse workers compensation insurance, general liability insurance and a policy endorsement naming SkyHouse as an additional insured. - Notwithstanding the requirement for such insurance, Guest shall be required to also hold harmless, indemnify, and defend SkyHouse, to the maximum extent allowed by law, from any and all liability arising from Guests use of SkyHouse, including the payment of SkyHouse’s reasonable attorney’s fees and costs incurred in defense of any actual or alleged liability. Catering/Bar: - All liquor must be served by an Insured Licensed Bartender. Alcohol may not be served to minors. Illegal substances are not allowed at any time on the premise. Drunken/Violent disturbances are prohibited and subject to immediate removal from the premise and possible termination of event without refund. DJ/Music: - We have a multi-zone Sonos system including four outdoor speakers and speakers throughout the interior. You may connect into this system. Please consult us regarding cable requirements. You may also bring your own sound system. - All music must end by 10pm during weekdays and 11pm on weekends to comply with sound ordinances. Please note that we are adjacent to the National Park. We ask that you keep sound levels at a respectful volume out of respect for neighbors and other guests of the park. - Fines may be issued for noise violations. Fire: - We have a large 10-foot gas firepit within the pool deck area which you are welcome to use. - Barbecues and grills are not permitted due to the fire risk in the area. - Other than the gas firepit, no open fires are to be started directly on the grounds of the property. - All candles must be contained or enclosed in glass. The flame must not reach higher than 2 inches below the height of the glass. Smoking: - Smoking is only allowed outdoors and more than 25 feet from any structure. Out of respect for the desert, your crew/guests must remove all cigarette butts from the property to avoid additional cleaning fees. Animals: - Animals are not permitted on the property unless they are used in the shooting of a scene. Decorations: - Decorations may not be attached to any structure or surface with tape, wire, nails, screws or other fasteners that could cause damage. All decorations, rental items and vendor equipment must be removed at the end of the event. Security - For a group over 30 people, we require security staff on site. We are not responsible for acts of higher power such as power outage, rain, storms, winds, police showing up, or anything out of our control and no refunds shall be issued in those cases.
