FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY + SPACE DETAILS: • Guests are allowed to bring their own alcohol • Outside food is allowed • Full kitchen • No cooking is allowed on site • Speakers, Projector, Microphones • Music Rules: DJ and amplified music is allowed, Amplified music is allowed by connecting personal device to speakers • Space Rules: Smoking is not allowed, Confetti is not allowed, No loud music • Ideal space for: Social Parties (Adult Birthdays, Graduations, etc.), Baby Showers, Holiday Party Located in the Mission district of San Francisco (walking distance from the 24th Street BART station), this is a space for creative Bay Area women of all definitions. It is housed in a spacious, 3,800–square-foot multipurpose former winery, outfitted with comfortable couches, café tables and chairs, dining tables with stools, and bar tables with bar stools. Renters have access to our main floor (~3,000-square-foot), which consists of open space, two meeting rooms, a bathroom, and kitchen. The space is available on select nights and weekends. We're ideal for intimate gatherings such as book clubs and discussion groups, workshops, photo shoots, baby showers and low-key parties, and networking events. We'd love to share our space with likeminded individuals and groups who share our values.

- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The space was lovely, large, and quirky. There are two levels with a large central space and multiple additional spaces inside for separate conversations or activities. There were plenty of chairs and tables to go around. You enter on the street level and go up a flight of stairs to get into the space. Peggy was very responsive, accommodating, and all around pleasant to work with.

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing of a space The Ruby is. I held my best friend’s bridal shower here and Peggy was so thorough and helpful throughout the entire process. I would absolutely book another event here.

The Ruby was a beautiful space and provided the perfect location for the type of event we were hosting. I had a great experience communicating with Peggy. They had no problem showing me the space before our event, and was very welcoming.

Absolutely love the space!! Has various rooms to hold cast, setup hair and makeup, and clients. Great aesthetic! We filmed interviews during a weekend, and the sound was fairly good, we got the occasional planes, and bus or loud cars, but nothing surprising since you are filming in a space in the city and not a typical studio. Honestly sound was manageable. The space is what is great and worth it. Keep in mind for load-in it's up a narrow flight of stairs. But has a bottom closed in space we used to stage so we didn't bring everything up! Mostly street parking and a garage that is about 15 min walk. Would love to come back here and film again, space is eclectic, tons of room to stage or put people plus supporting a space run by women!
