About the Space
We are an intimate urban outdoor oasis perfect for any and all things wedding, parties, corporate events, classes, and workshops. The lush garden space is nestled behind our lovely storefront in Oakland. This outdoor private venue space is idyllic in the warmer months. The venue itself is 1200 ft and comes equipped with a fully functional bar including refrigeration, a private bathroom, and adequate heat lamps if needed. All events can be custom tailored to your aesthetics, and we allow any catering and bar/alcohol options of your choosing. This space is perfect for anyone that is searching for an intimate, inviting, and fully customizable venue location. Bar Area: includes a beautiful soapstone bar with bar stools, a refrigerator and a deep industrial sink. Add-on amenities include: glassware, plates, utensils and knives. Seating Area: includes a long industrial table with benches, a small two top vintage table and chairs, a four top vintage table and chairs, and a chaise lounge for two. The furniture layout can be moved to suit your event. Maximum occupancy: 100 guests. Please note that the garden space can accommodate only 70 guests for groups larger then 70 guests you must rent out our adjacent sister garden which adds an additional (2500sqft) of space to your event. Please inquire directly. The Backyard also comes equipped with: *Outdoor speakers *Patio Heat Lamps and additional portable Heat lamps *Wifi Cafe lights extend the length of the space for evening mood lighting. Trash/recycling removal is included with rental. Refreshments and decor are not included with rental. You are welcome to bring in anything you would like. We are happy to provide referrals for decor, flowers, food and refreshments venders.

What an amazing space. Dana and Taylor made the whole viewing, booking, set up, take down, etc. process sooo easy. We threw a wildflower themed bridal shower with about 20 guests and the space was perfect. It could definitely fit lots more folks. The shed in the back was perfect for displaying food. Everything is so easily movable because most things are on wheels so you can really make the space fir what you need. The space is just soo well done. Taylor and Dana are so kind and accommodating. Our guests were enjoying the space so much so we added another hour and it was so easy. The shop is just adorable and our guests had a great time perusing before/after the event. Totally recommend!

The space was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. We had a minor issue when we arrived as the fridge stopped working. But the staff setup buckets filled with us ice for our drinks. Overall it was a great experience and I would love to come back again.

He had everything cleaned and all additional rentals (such as tables, plates, glasses) all ready upon our arrival. He continued to help as needed throughout the event as was so pleasant to work with!

The communication with the hosts was seamless and the renovated space looked wonderful. The staff from the moment we walked in (30 min early) were so kind and accommodating and helpful. This space was perfect for my birthday party! All of the guests commented on what a fun and festive space it was. There was an employee dedicated to the event garden who was very helpful and enthusiastic in helping us load and unload equipment and help with anything that we needed during the event.
