A perfect space for photo and film shoots and tea parties. A wonderful environment for artists who are looking for inspiration for their drawings, paintings or sculptures. Mothers, daughters, granddaughters and friends will find an amazing array of antique and vintage clothing and hats to choose from for lovely photographs or films. A charming and unique space for tea parties. A very romantic place for marriage proposals and date nights with all of the inspiring art, antiques and lovely color and beauty everywhere. A couple can schedule an exciting art class in painting, sculpting, collage or nature art. There are two fairly large rooms and two small rooms available for use, brimming with endless choices for props and backdrop pieces. We also have a very large porch with columns in the front that would be a lovely area to use. The front of our shop is painted a lovely pale blue with light green and yellow trim so it is a wonderful area to use for photo and film shoots as well as outdoor tea parties. We also have beautiful lighting with antique lamps, chandeliers and natural light coming in from four fairly large windows. Our antique, vintage shop/art gallery is just three buildings off of University Avenue, one of the main streets in Provo and just a few blocks from Center Street, the other main street. We are very easy to find and have excellent parking. We are behind two major restaurants, Wild Ginger and Thai Village and also only one block from the main Provo Library. We have a very large, colorful sign out in front of our shop and many other signs to help locate our business. Our space has a presence and a magical feeling about it that everyone who comes in is amazed about and comments on. It is a beautiful space and very inspiring and eclectic. We have very good air conditioning, a wheel chair ramp and our shop is fairly quiet inside, which would lend itself well to filming. We also have a dressing room for clients to change into the antique dresses and costumes and very nice mirrors as well. Our shop and gallery/museum could probably accommodate up to ten people at a time, but perhaps more comfortably about six. It isn't a huge space but it has an amazing style and we could always make more space for clients by moving out some furniture pieces or rearranging the rooms to make the space more functional. Our fees are: $65 an hour for photo and film shoots. $45 per person for tea parties which includes the use of antique dresses and hats, china plates and tea cups and the use of tables, chairs, etc. $35 an hour for art students or artists to use for inspiration for their drawings and paintings. $50 an hour for any other uses.
Our shop is a non-smoking, no alcohol space and we do not allow pets. As many of the objects in our shop and gallery are fragile, we do ask that clients show respect and care in utilizing our space and any objects that are used as in-store rentals for props or backdrops. We always hope for a project without damages, however, as some of the objects in our shop are irreplaceable. Normally, our shop is available as a venue for any age, but we would prefer if very young children are part of a group, that they are attended to the entire time they are here. We would also prefer that there won't be any off color or inappropriate language or conduct in our shop.
