Our beautiful craftsman space in Atwater Village offers a 4,500 sq ft private garden & outdoor studio location perfect for small productions (photo shoots, fashion shoots, commercial shoots, web series shoots, filmed interviews, etc.). The outdoor space features grass turf, lush plant life & succulents, gardening plots, live chickens, a children's playground, overhead shading, lounge furniture, and bohemian decor. The dynamic space can be set up for any production scene or activity. PROVIDED WITH RENTAL: - 1 tech scout + consultation prior to booking - Modern kitchen equipped for light craft services/catering - 1 restroom - On-site manager available throughout booking to assist with questions - Loading and unloading driveway -Free street parking _______________________________________________________ EXTRA SERVICES & PACKAGES: To help make your production a success, we offer a full range of additional amenities & services, including: - Option to use interior space ($50 per hour add-on fee) -Additional furniture, decor & rentals (inventory includes: tables, chairs, candles, lanterns, etc.) - Custom signage & paintings *Pricing for these services is customized for size & nature of your production. We recommend www.eventhelper.com to purchase event insurance or companies provide there own insurance. *Outside food & beverage is permitted, please clean up before departing the space. *All boxes and recyclables must be taken away, we can only service two large garbage bags of food and waste.
Crew Size & Rental Rate 0-20= $150 per hour 20-40= $175 per hour 40-60=$225 per hour 60-80= $275 per hour 80-100= $300 per hour Rentals apply to outdoor space but can include indoor space as well. Please review with host prior. Rental includes the potential use of the kitchen but not kitchenware other than oven and microwave. The space is a smoke-free, confetti free, fake blood free zone. Outdoor furniture can be lightly rearranged with approval, but must be placed back as it was found. For an additional fee we offer private consulting on set up, decor themes and custom catering. All such arrangements must be agreed upon ten business day prior to the event.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

This place is as unique as it is awesome. I booked it after reading the other reviews for my daughter's first birthday party. We went here because it was a better space than our house and also allowed us to bring in our own food and drink, unlike many other commercial venues. If you're having a party with small children, this space is just fantastic. Since it's a preschool during the week, the space is already very kid friendly, fully enclosed, and lets parents have a bit of peace of mind while they also have a good time. I don't know how many people at our party asked us about how we found it. Would def use this venue again and recommend it. Maha was wonderful to deal with and made the whole rental experience really easy.

My mother rented this space for my baby shower and it was absolutely magical. For an additional fee, you can have the venue do all set up and flowers for you, but we opted to do our own decor. You can keep it simple because there is so much greenery to work with. Owner was communicative and kind and I would definitely host another event here.

I did extensive searches to find a venue for my daughter's first birthday that would meet all our needs... a space where kids could have fun and enjoy the outdoors, a space where adults would be able to relax and enjoy their food and drinks knowing that their kids and grandkids were engaged in enriching activities, and a space that provided the flexibility for us to bring a variety of foods and drinks to meet the different tastes of our families. After finding this space and seeing the reviews of other parents who had great experiences hosting their children's first birthdays, we decided to book. And we are definitely glad we did! The location met all our needs. It was such a nice change of pace to see all our nieces and nephews playing outdoors and just being kids, instead of their faces being buried in phones/iPads/Tablets as is typically the case at family events. Our family dog was able to come and really enjoyed the chickens in the coop. Maha was very gracious and patient with us (and with my dog barking at the chickens!), checking on our needs throughout the event but never being obtrusive. It was a positive experience and we highly recommend the space.

We held an amazing springtime event here with kids crafts, cookie decorating and an Easter egg hunt. The space was perfect and well equipped to host 35 kids. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone booking a children’s event in Los Angeles.
